So I don't see how holding women hostage helps anyone. Forces them to experience the inequality that men have gone through. Despite what you think, women suffer more financially from childbirth in every metric you choose to look at it: lost career prospects, lower income, opportunity cost from childcare. Single mothers don't come out the financial victor in all this. Very simple way of avoiding this- don't have sex if you don't want a child.
