I’m not generally disagreeing with the issues you raise around ‘patriarchy’. The issue that I’m raising is that white people are harmed by white supremacist ideology, and straight people are harmed by heteronormative ideology. I take umbrage with the assertion that somehow my life as a white or straight person would be better under a more heteronormative or white supremacist society.

Ok. So you don’t understand what ‘left’ means. Just because an organization is slightly left of hardline right wing orgs doesn’t make them ‘left’. Leftism is an anti-capitalist stance and all of the orgs you described are privately owned and exist to support and uphold the capitalist system by manufacturing consent. These organizations are all center right at best, and again, just because they may support some more progressive social policies does not make them leftist or left wing.

Those organizations are not ‘left’. They are ruled by and advocate for capital. They are center right organizations. They may be more progressive on some social issues than hardline right wing organizations like Fox, but are by no means even left leaning organizations.

2 and 3 don’t contradict. Trans women usually become women in adulthood. It would be a safe place for autistic trans women to talk about how autism affects them. Trans men experienced childhood as girls/women often. I’m certain that growing up as an autistic girl before transitioning would have had unique challenges that autistic cis women can relate to that cis men may not be able to in the same way since we didn’t grow up as girls.

I don’t mind seeing politicians advocate for men as well in campaigning, and it’s almost certainly a winning strategy to do so, but I’m not a fan of this article in general. It implies if not outright states that advocacy for women is ‘far left’ when it’s liberal idpol at best. Biden does not advocate for far left policies where class would be the most important distinction.

I would say it’s only partly on them. We are humans and our experiences shape us. If all of your experience with women leads to pain it’s reasonable to develop animosity towards what is causing the pain.
