Are you forgetting about similar dominance hierarchies observed in chimpanzees and other close relatives of ours that are objectively more relevant to humans?

The issue is the consequences of divorce I think. If he didn't stay with her then all of the money he's worked for since he became an actor is suddenly in jeopardy, which isn't really worth the risk, in my opinion. Better for him to stay in the relationship and just stop all pretense of faithfulness. If he didn't cheat with Margot Robbie before, guess what he's gonna do now, lol.

Same boat as you my guy, been lurking since junior year and thought I'd be able to put the biggest bits into practice once I got to college, but sadly this had not turned out as I'd hoped. Still have a long way to go, though I've made progress since 15 year old me.

I think it's sexism to a degree, but more in the vein that employers want to have a diverse workplace. It's the same with college admissions and similar things.

I think it's just the job of whoever asked the other person out to pay, since they are the guest in that situation. 9 times out of 10 though the guy is the one who asks, so he ends up paying. That's no excuse for the girl to take advantage of the guy and splurge.

It's called "social proof," and it's a psychological phenomenon that applies to female attraction. Basically it shows that if other women are interested in you, you must be worth it. This is especially effective on younger girls because they don't have the experience weeding out the high-value guys from the low-value guys by themselves yet, and thus are easily influenced by the opinion of other girls. Aka social proof.

That seems deceptively simple. Also what do you mean by people acting differently?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
