To over generalize a looot. The left has no spine and the right has no heart. A lot of people here in TRP are liberals who are finding self-respect and a backbone, not necessarily jumping on the whole anarcho-capitalist objectisvism bandwagon. Hopefully they can be a wonderful combination, having both.

Excuse me, I was responding to just the "taken seriously/ crime" aspect of the reply above mine. These events don't happen in a vacuum, and beyond the legal aspect there is a whole subculture that silences/shames victims and protects the perpetrators. And when they get away with it, the people from the highest position of the campus administration are complicit in it... It's a systemic issue. The response to it can be short sighted, ineffective, hurt men and "empower" unstable or vindictive wome…

Both those things can be true at the same time... depending on the place and subculture. For example.. "Rape culture" is a phenomenon in university settings with the children of very powerful and connected parents.. People rally about the issue and try to get laws passed to deal with the issue... Strict punishments, mandatory this, mandatory that... Problem is, the perpetrators and mostly above the law anyway. I am a fan of The Red Pill, but disagree with the broad way that a lot of the members in the community categorize or dismiss feminism. Might just be an argument of definitions though. Because I think the western tumblr/jezebel/upper class white feminist thing is a complete crock of shit most of the times. But feminism is broad and works all over the world.
