I do agree that women can PUT THEMSELVES into positions in which they do the work of a higher paid employee, but that is because they are less likely to negotiate up. It might be a societal problem or a gender problem, I don't know, but these companies aren't slapping handcuffs on women and telling them they have to do more work for less.
