3	This sub makes some valid points and has an admirable self-improvement/independence philosophy, but the tendency towards unconditionally generalizing all women is unwholesome and ruins it all. I don't anyone here would claim men are sinless and without fault, I certainly don't. What we do claim is that men are required to shoulder a disproportionate amount of financial and legal risk than women when entering a marriage. With divorce rates so high we choose not to take that risk. Then we look at dating. But without marriage, what's the point in dating? It wasn't until he got out a couple months ago that I got all the details. I know he's living with his parents and able to see his kid.
