Oh, I recognize that. However, Schwyzer has proven disgusting enough that I won't listen to him regardless of his point. His accuracy is, at this point, irrelevant. I don't take a contrarian position to anything he says, I don't think he deserves to be heard to at all. If someone else made the arguments, I would at least hear them out.

Dogmatic? Even if he makes a point that is correct, the very fact that he is the source discounts the point. It's like listening to Dick Cheney talk about honesty. Honesty is good...Dick Cheney has no right to be a part of any conversation about it.

Either way, it would be pretty offensive to be told to dress a certain way, or behave a certain way, when my behavior was totally legal. Warning women that there is a rapist in the area targeting women who are dressed a certain way is acceptable. Telling them that they must therefore curtail their own lawful behavior is not.

I suggest you read some of the things she's written. She has threatened to physically harm people and rape people. She has gone on paranoid screeds and hate filled rants at the least provocation. She genuinely seems to be very mentally ill. If she's not, she's certainly does a good imitation.

I really hate how this has become a Semitic thing. I think Jews should have total freedom to circumcise...consenting adult. Doesn't it make the covenant between man and God all the stronger if it is entered into willingly? I also think that adult women should be free to practice FGM on themselves. I just can't imagine any reason why they'd want to.
