What I got was "Oh... A lot of us do objectify ourselves, so we can't blame men for thinking of us in that way" Yeah, she got half of it down, and for one night, that was good enough for me. I didn't want to go further and correct her that not all men look at women like that, but I'll do so in the future. She was already very polite when she realized she had a bias

It's all good. It's near the bottom. Don't know how to link to it...

I did call them out, I posted an update in which an admittance of bias occurred. I believe in keeping friendships and resolving issues is a much better route than completely abandoning a relationship because I was offended. I find it an extremely immature and ineffective way of making a statement. A proper discussion occurred where opinions were exchanged in a civil manner

Ah, yes. That is not the case, they are just extremely good friends. Like I said, pros outweigh this con and even then, I'd like to persuade their thoughts towards mine, or at least respect each others beliefs, rather than just throw away our friendships

I think some of it was about winning an argument, I'm kinda like that, but it really was just offensive to me since not all men are like that. As for the EXACT reason, I couldn't quite place it. That's why I was asking for opinions

Sadly, I am completely unaware of what you mean... Could you elaborate?

UPDATE: I brought it up again with one of my friends and had the following conversation. Her: Our society is so overly sexualized and degrading towards women. Who do you think made that happen? Men. So, it is not unfair to say that a lot of men in the world do not think well of women, do whatever they want with women, and therefore it is not a bad thing to assume that men have dirty minds. Myself: How are men responsible for that? (Our society being so overly sexualized) Her: Because why on Eart…

Yeah. These are my best friends. I'd do that to a lesser, or "Facebook" friend, but they do have great qualities which outweigh this belief

I mentioned this in another post, but yeah, we all have a friend who actually did attempt to rape. But that doesn't make it acceptable, does it? I mentioned it isn't bias, but common sense to not walk down a dark alley with somebody. That's apparently what they meant by saying they have to assume all men are rapists. You have to assume they'll rape you of you walk down a dark alley. But wouldn't that apply to me as well? I wouldn't walk down a dark alley with a woman for fear of the same thing. …

I did point that out, yes, how incredibly offensive it was. The problem is, we have a mutual friend who is an attempted rapist. And that's their main strength, it's more real to them. I'm a bit new, would you mind explaining all the other numerous things we could do? And I think they understand that's it's incredibly offensive, hence their "It's unfair, yes, but necessary"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
