Question: why are you here?

Why not just say "no"?

Sounds like you made decisions to interpret him as not really referring to money the first time, desire those clues. In these contexts, a tab would be a prepaid pool of money to be used for someone when they need something done. Maybe that gives clearer context to scene two. For scene three, I take that to mean Widow made good with the authorities and accessed a cache of money where she re-upped her favor (tab) with the guy. You being upset that they didn't stereotype his character the same way …

...she paid him. He was hired for everything. This is made abundantly clear in the movie.

This comment is gold: "I would like to add that in charitable organizations, the non-paid help is always mostly women. I know this from my own charity work. The top-tier jobs (the ones that pay) are usually given to men. The men won't take the unpaid positions. Again, another show of who the 'ambitious' people are. Can you tell that word usage in the article is grating to me?\ Women are ambitious enough to save the world . . . without pay." Wut

No, you can't play Batman if you're not willing to make sacrifices and work hard for it. You know, like what Bruce Wayne does. Screw this dramatic priss. I knew my doubts about him for the role were founded.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thanks for your response. I think the reason I choose to pay attention is because we do have very few people standing up and drawing attention to industry- and national-level responsibility for climate change. I do think it's awfully unfortunate that the modern era has very few personalities Aimee toward this goal, Greta is the most vocal and prominent voice we have drawing attention to these issues at this time. Sorry. I thought the "is this an..." was implied more clearly. I also thought, if that was clear, the "hey man, this is clearly an ad hominem attack" time would be clear. Following that, I'd assumed (which I know is an awful thing to do) you would interpret that to mean "this is an ad hominem attack, though I'd like to hear a better argument for your views."

Huge logical fallacy here. If that's one of your goals as a parent, you are in no way ready to raise a child. In fact, I'd venture to say that kind of thinking is what causes a lot of issues that we try to argue against in this thread.

I guess if you're very reserved or conservative, it may come off that way. However, the world of sexuality is vast and wild. While a lot can go wrong, with the help of accepting communities, there can be a lot of very safe and incredibly fun exploration. Remember, just because you don't understand something, or include it in your life, doesn't mean it isn't a good thing.

/u/datingmylefthand is right. I am very aware Aquaman isn't Marvel, because so far, all the DC movies have been really really awful. I'm not saying every Marvel movie is great, but they're generally miles ahead.

Ok, I misread your original comment. By the current standard, any compelled act that restricts another's ability to communicate or reach the outside world is seen as abuse.

You're making a lot of assumptions about what is definitely a form of psychological abuse/control. This is a modern textbook example of abuse.

I actually feel great! I've been weaning myself off the drugs pretty quickly, and haven't felt any pain so far. I'm surprised at how well I'm feeling, and (so far) there's nearly no bruising. My roommates have been super great with helping me out, and I honestly contribute all that mostly to them and their insistence that I not move around much.

No kids, long time MGTOW, consistent monk mode. I'm in my early thirties, and no kids. I had a long period of thinking about freezing some swimmers, but decided against it in the long run. If, down the line, I do want to help raise some good humans, I would be looking to adopt. Thanks for the questions, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:17 PM

And legal protection! Thanks for promoting it for others, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:13 PM

That's definitely where I'm at right now (and most of the time) but it's nice to have an insurance policy, you know? Thanks for wanting to keep me on track, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:12 PM

That's what my dominant reasoning was! Thanks for the kind words, brother!

I've got my setters here as my recovery buddies! That, and my roommates have been stellar! They're admonishing me every time I get off the couch! Thanks for the kind words, brother!

Thank you bunches, brother! I'll make sure to be careful; that's what this decision was all about!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:09 PM

Thanks for the recommendation; I'd been wondering about that! Good looking out, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:08 PM

I've already had waves of relief due to peace-of-mind! Keep fighting the good fight, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:03 PM

Good to hear, brother! I'm following doctor's orders quite strictly in order to help with that. I had a small bit of nausea when he pulled the tube out of side one, but zero issues outside of that!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:02 PM
1

So far so good! My roommates have been amazing! They've been switching out bags of peas, bringing me meals and snacks with my painkillers, and just generally being great to me! Thanks for the reminder, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 05:00 PM
1

Yikes! Than I'll make sure to get it done twice! Do you think periodic checks are necessary?
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:58 PM
1

Oh, I'd never be able to stomach not having that peace of mind! Thanks for the reminder, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:58 PM
2

If I let myself get suckered in to a trap, I thoroughly plan to still do this! My decision was largely for legal protection in case I slip to temptation down the line, but that doesn't mean I've no healthy suspicion/fear of STDs. Thanks for the concern, brother.
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:57 PM
1

I don't expect to! I thought for quite some time about the decision. Even with MGTOW in mind, it's no decision to be made on a whim. Thanks, brother.
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:55 PM
1

Haha thanks, brother! I'm generally fine following doctor's orders to the T, but if nothing else, this reaffirms it. Personal experience?
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:54 PM
3

Oh of course! The move is largely for legal protection in case anything comes up, but I don't plan on putting myself in that position anyway. Keep fighting the good fight, brother!
/r/MGTOW08/12/17 04:53 PM
3

Thank you, brother! It's being kept between myself, my roommates (who are getting SPLENDID and helping take GREAT care of me!), and several coworkers. It will be kept a well-guarded secret moving forward, just to keep myself safe.

Trying very hard not to dox this guy. I went to high school with him. He is a self-hating man who puts down anyone white, straight, or a man in any interactions with someone who lacks one of those three qualities, or more. They all ensure to call him "friend" with lots of emphasis, especially on public forum. He's stopped being friends with just about EVERYONE since then, even many of those with whom he's tried to garner favour.
/r/MGTOW12/06/17 05:29 AM

I was trying to see if you were just having a bad day or something. I didn't want to call you a dick if it seemed you were generally alright.

No, they aren't always right. Often, the customer is flat-out wrong. That doesn't grant us the ability to treat them in ways that aren't in line with your employer's policies. Modern society generally blankets employer's policies into the "suck it up and keep your cool" category. If you're too hot-headed to maintain your composure, then you're the issue.

We live in an age of customer service. If you refuse to put up with that, then that's on your failure to adapt to the job market. In the professional world, you have to be willing to suck up the crappy attitude and treatment you'll get from some customers, while reporting it to your supervisors. We don't have the option to make comments like that while working, unless we're willing to face consequences, like those you're facing. You could work as a cashier at Burger King, a lifeguard at a public…
