Hot-take: I think that the Shift of male voters in the most recent US elections was not a net-positive reaction to the misandry, it validated the gender-wars insteadI’m missing your point with this. A you offering a fix/solution or just stating the situation, as you see it. | /r/MensRights | 08/06/26 02:08 PM

Comments sided with OP thankfully, but a terrible story nonethelessI'm sorry for your loss. This is terrible and heartless of her. Has the girlfriend expressed any remorse? I want to point out that if the girlfriend killed herself because your friend was needlessly cruel, the story would be all over the media. | /r/MensRights | 19/09/25 03:16 PM
Happy men's mental health awareness monthI had no idea that this was a thing. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll keep an eye out to see how many news articles or mentions on news shows this gets. | /r/MensRights | 02/06/25 12:29 AM
Why Do Women in Relationships Expect Single Men to Date Fat People?Everyone has preferences. If you aren't attracted to her heavy friend, just say "I'm not attracted to her" and move on. You deserve to find a partner you will be happy with. | /r/MensRights | 28/04/25 09:39 PM
a recently released episode of cobra kai showed a male character drinking for the first time and then being assaulted. this was a writer’s response.I came here to say this. I can't imagine the consequences, portrayed on screen and in real-life, if a female character was taken advantage of while drunk. Also, are these high school kids? I know that high school kids have sex, but why would they show this? | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 04:26 PM

Seeking Advice and Support: My Experience with an Abusive WifeHas she always been like this? Why would you put a ring on that and have a kid? If this is some sort of post-partum depression, maybe you can have an intervention and have her get help. If she refuses, you will need to leave. Not only is her behavior bad for you, but this is a terrible example to set for your child. | /r/MensRights | 16/11/24 01:02 AM
This is sad and pathetic. After the election results, a woman’s male fiancé sent a card letter to her essentially debasing himself & apologizing for his own gender so that she could feel better. Is this real? | /r/MensRights | 14/11/24 06:17 PM
My girlfriend keeps making comments about mansplaining and men's humour... EtcYou should re-think your relationship. Yeah, you will be bringing more money to the table. What is she going to bring? Is she supportive of you and your goals, or does she just complain about how shitty her life is and expect you to do more? | /r/MensRights | 12/10/24 10:09 PM

"What rights are men missing?"I agree that this is a statistic that should get more attention, but this really isn't a right or an act of discrimination. You could argue that the absolute dismissal of men's mental health that results in suicide should be corrected, and I agree. | /r/MensRights | 15/09/24 12:04 AM
Do people in your country expect men to give up their seats to young healthy women on public transport?I've only given up my seats if the standing passenger would derive more of a benefit from the seat than I (elderly, disabled, parent with kid, etc.). Young, healthy people of either sex don't deserve the seat any more than I. | /r/MensRights | 06/09/24 06:54 PM
When did you realise that, as a man, nobody has cared, cares or will care about you and your well being? And that you will only be used for the resources you can produce and be immediatly thrown away like trash if you yield fewer resources than previously? That's been my life for awhile now. Her life is shit, and it is my fault. Fortunately, my kids love me and they are the only reason I stick it out. When they graduate high school, I'm out. | /r/MensRights | 05/09/24 03:12 PM

Most men need a mentor, not a therapistI think you are on to something here. I think that modern society has, to a certain extent, alienated men from their fathers. I'm not talking about absent fathers, but, rather, the father working outside of the house, without contact with their sons to demonstrate skills, behavior, etc. 200 years ago, the son would go to the fields, or the workshop, with his father and learn, but, now, my father went to work in a factory, and I went to school. I work in an office, my son goes to school. I think … | /r/MensRights | 29/08/24 04:04 PM
Just thought this Interaction with Chat GPT was weird. Chat GPT is either Feminist or has a Feminist Bias. This is concerning every new tech comes preprogrammed with male disposability and female supremacist attitude. We need to liberate tech platform and make them fair and just for all.AI is programmed by people with a bias, and trained on biased data. | 3 | So let me get this straight, men are obligated to put themselves at risk for random people? It's not that I don't care about her (I don't, tbh), it's just that I care about my wife and kids more. I'm not putting myself in harm's way to help a stranger when, if I were to get injured or killed, would burden my family. | /r/MensRights | 18/07/24 12:52 PM

Let’s discuss touch deprivation in mens lives.I've never been much of a toucher; in fact, outside of my wife, kids, and some relatives, I don't particularly like being touched. That said, my kids will often ask to give me a hug, which I appreciate. My wife goes out of her way to not touch me (lots of issues behind this). I do miss this contact with my wife and it will probably never return (we've discussed it. She has a very "what have you done for me lately?" attitude towards everything in our relationship. | 2 | Dumb Sitcom Dads: Do fathers deserve better?I've noticed this trend ever since the Simpsons first aired. Prior to then, the sitcom dad was only inept in certain situations (making his kids lunch, for example). Afterwards, the sitcom dad became inept in all aspects of his life. This is one of the reasons I don't watch TV (especially sitcoms) anymore. I'll watch my re-runs. | /r/MensRights | 12/01/24 05:01 PM

If you had these flings two years ago, then I don’t see why the test would be needed. | 3 | My dream is to be a stay-at-home dadI would like to be a SAHD, too. However, contra other posts in this topic, I've never seen this work in real life. The few examples I've seen have ended in divorce. The women were gung-ho on there careers for a year or two, but then decided they wanted to be a SAHM. This invariably resulted in friction when the husband did not immediately obtain a job that allowed the wife to do so. | /r/MensRights | 05/01/23 09:26 PM |

Why does girl power often involve putting men down?Don’t judge the cashier too harshly. He’s doing his job and trying to keep the customer happy while trying to get her out of the store. If he said anything along the lines of “that’s sexist and misandrist”, the customer would complain and he would be fired. I’ve had jobs where I’ve needed to interact with clients. I’ve heard some really stupid and insulting shit come out of their mouths. I had to remind myself that the only thing that matters is their money, and just smile and nod. | /r/MensRights | 31/12/22 10:20 PM

It seems that the vast majority of people who commented were women, so I wanted some men's opinions on it to see if I'm an asshole.Years ago, when I was in my 20's, I was working out in my gym, and a women wearing a tight body suit, with what can only be called a "boob window" walked into the weight room. | 2 | why don't we ever hear about "empowering boys" and "empowered men"?For some reason, men and boys are assumed to be empowered. We are all born knowing how to network, how to argue your point, whatever knowledge is needed, etc. Even though I had no mentors or guidance in the workplace, I just intuitively know how to get ahead. And all of my bros support me, for some reason, and help me out. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/22 03:01 PM |

Girlfriend tells me she hates men; it hurts me, but what am I supposed to do?Get out now. She’ll just rationalize your behavior as you being a man, and will learn nothing. If you stay with her, she will make your life miserable. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/22 12:05 PM
False AccusationsThis is truly a tragedy. And I bet the gf suffers no consequences. | /r/MensRights | 23/06/22 01:00 AM
Would you take birth control if it was available for men?I love this analogy and I’m going to use it on all sorts of things in the future! | /r/MensRights | 02/04/22 03:47 PM
Would you take birth control if it was available for men?If it was shown to be safe and no long term consequences, then absolutely yes. I’m not the type of guy to randomly sleep around, but the last thing I want is to be responsible for a kid with the wrong woman. Or even to be accused of being the father when I’m not. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/22 03:45 PM
Do Schools Discriminate Against Boys?I wish I could upvote this more than once. | /r/MensRights | 29/03/22 11:43 AM
The reaction to the Oscars is downright disgusting and very telling of what kind of person someone isWell, I cannot argue with your razor-keen logic and unparalleled eloquence. You’ve convinced me. | /r/MensRights | 29/03/22 02:23 AM
The reaction to the Oscars is downright disgusting and very telling of what kind of person someone isIt looked staged to me, as well. Nobody has cared about the Oscars for years and viewership is slipping. Suddenly, a big, controversial event takes place that everyone is now discussing. Seems a little too convenient. Besides, Jada is a public figure and fair game for comedians. Smith should understand that and have a thick enough skin to deal with this. | /r/MensRights | 28/03/22 11:39 AM
The Adam Project (movie)Thanks for posting. I’ll need to check it out. Can I watch it with my kids (10 yo)? | /r/MensRights | 20/03/22 04:21 PM
What is the biggest issue facing men in America in your opinion ?I agree. But I think my point stands. Men, as heroes, role-models, mentors, etc., are not appreciated, and in some sense opposed, in 2022 US culture. | /r/MensRights | 18/03/22 07:52 PM
What is the biggest issue facing men in America in your opinion ?It’s not just fathers. There need to be more positive representations of men in children’s entertainment. When was the last time you saw a Disney movie with a male hero? How are fathers represented in children’s TV shows? (We are typically portrayed as buffoons who cannot survive without the mother. The mothers are usually portrayed as super-competent; no man needed). While I agree that fathers need to be in the home, the importance of their roles needs to be underscored and reinforced. | /r/MensRights | 18/03/22 07:36 PM
I’m unable to have kids because a girl kicked me in the balls when I was in high school.“To be fair, she was suspended…” That honestly doesn’t sound fair, even if you had no permanent effects. She seriously injured you and got a slap on the wrist. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/22 12:16 PM
Is there anything a man can do to protect himself against a false accusation?I remember how Mike Pence was mocked for not eating alone with a woman other than his wife. This actually seems like a good idea to me. I always make sure I’m not alone with a woman so I cannot be accused of any sort of bad behavior. | /r/MensRights | 30/01/22 11:02 PM
