Even he doesn't know. I've had a couple dudes go at me like this, and it was obvious from how disorganized and unprovoked the attacks were that they had no real reason for it other than "I feel insecure (due to my obstinately unaddressed mental health issues) so I want to make her insecure". They are unbalanced and weak and they know it, so they want to knock you off balance too so you are too busy righting yourself to respond appropriately (by running the fuck away).
