I think the only plus side of divorce is that your financial situation improves. My ex wife has, and I'm guessing, about $30-35k worth of debt and absolutely nothing to show for it. We're in the process of selling our home and she'll end up getting slightly more than me, maybe $20k more, but I get to keep my small industrial building. Her Hey credit is shit so she will not be getting a house/mortgage any time soon. I would not be surprised if she blows her share ($250k) within 5-7 years. She's m…

I spent almost $15k on my ex-wife's much needed tummy tuck after she lost just a significant amount of weight. We both lost a significant amount of weight actually. Anyway she said that not only was it for her but for me too. It was never for me but instead for her and anyone else but me. Shortly after her surgery our marital issues got worse and ended getting divorced eventually. The best part is of that she put much of the weight that she had lost right back on while I've maintained my weight …

So you realize that you can just move out and file for divorce, right? Regain your composure and sanity and just divorce her if you think that death is your only option, which is not an option at all. Get some much needed counseling too while you're at it. You can do this.

My ex was 4 months older than me (58) and quite chubby. I'm seeing a girl at the moment who is 36, very petite, quite pretty and smart af. We get along great (which certainly wasn't the case with my ex the last year we lived together). At the moment, we get along great but I know that the age gap is working against us especially if she does get the "baby bug"; I'm snipped. Guess I'll enjoy it while I can, maybe it'll last longer than I expect.

Yes. I'm also now attracted to a few years younger than me and am having slight success. I'm single again so I'm going to go after whatever interests me instead of potentially settling with someone who doesn't fully attract me.

My ex-wife had a lot of credit card debt during the divorce process. In the meantime, my 23 year old truck with over 240k miles finally died on me. I decided "fuck it" and went against my better judgment and financed a spanking brand new car for close to $50k. I had no problem making the monthly payment. When all was said and done her total debt (credit cards, loans against her 401k, and who knows what else) was equally to the debt in my new car. She kept her debt and I kept mine. It's funny bec…

This cannot be overstated.

You're getting off easy from a financial POV if that's what she truly accepts in the divorce.

You just described my STBXW perfectly. Now take everything you've said and compound that with her emotional affair. I never stood a chance.

This is what I've been doing since we separated. I pretty much ignore her and communicate with her only when absolutely necessary.

You're going to continue driving yourself nuts with this mindset. Again, good luck. You're really going to need it if you want to retain your sanity.

Why were you at the same party as her let alone dancing with her? Cut her out of your life and you'll find it much much easier to move on. Good luck.

Nice. Not mainland China but just as cool.

My trips there started as business trips. Now I make business and vacation trips there. I go to Shanghai where 5 star hotels are a lot cheaper than the US, Canada and Europe. Also, I have developed an affinity for Asian women. I think they're beautiful and exotic looking not to mention that they seem to be very down to earth. Their culture and cuisine are great and, generally speaking, the people there are good people. I've always had a positive experience whenever I visit and I'm appreciative o…

I've been doing a lot of solo travel and all of it international to China. I've made a lot of expat friends there along with some local Chinese. I've even made friends with local Chinese girls, and one of them has turned to a little more than just friends. 😉 I highly recommend that you travel because it helps you forget all of the bullshit that you are going through or have gone through during your separation of divorce. It clears your mind, you experience new places and most of all you start fe…

Working out is therapeutic physically and especially mentally. You literally feel better about yourself. And once your muscles and body start responding to it you'll physically look better not just to yourself but women. I get more smiles directed at me now that I workout then before I had started working out (and losing weight too).

Start lifting weights to maintain your muscle mass (instead of losing it) and to tone up. That should make you more attractive for someone new.

This may work unless she hires a forensic accountant. Yes, it will cost her but if she and her attorneys think it's worth it then they will scrutinize your finances with a fine tooth comb. $0.02

Mine has a lot of klarna, afterpay, etc and other "buy now, pay later" charges on her debit card (no credit cards since her credit is shit). She's going to be so fucked when we finally divorce.

You're afraid to be alone. Unfortunately, I can relate but the inevitable filing will probably be done within a couple of months I'm thinking. Good luck to you.

When you lose weight you lose fat everywhere on your body including your pelvic area. The fat around your Johnson recedes back thus making your pecker look longer. Lose weight, elongate!

Hit the gym to get in shape which will make you feel better and become healthier. But this alone won't make you lose weight. You'll need to manage and reduce your caloric intake to actually shed pounds. The byproduct of so of this is looking better and attracting women or men if that's how you roll. Trust me, your mental state of mind will also benefit because you'll just feel lighter and better. Keep your chin up and good luck.
