For thousands of years men have masturbated without any videos, they suddenly aren’t able to do that anymore? No, they did have "videos," but the videos only existed in their heads. Pornography that exists outside of a person's mind, then goes into their mind for use, is just more efficient. you aren’t compatible, you could try actually marrying a woman who likes the same kind of sex as you In theory, I agree, but the real world is more complicated than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 03:18 PM

I would add: while these problems are not insurmountable, often, the type of people who are in these situations are less prepared to deal with them (e.g., emotionally) than the average person.

But men are generally expected to do the asking, so that means men will end up generally doing the paying too. "The asker pays" just masks the inequality.

And I'm to believe a living breathing woman who is smiling across the table and responding to his jokes and flirting is "nothing special"? If, inside, she is seething with contempt, yes. Less so in less extreme scenarios.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 11:43 PM

It's not "self worth," men just enjoy sex.

And also, just because you'd be satisfied with random offers of sex and partners that don't really care about you, doesn't mean women are. If women had as little access to sex as most men have, then they'd be just as satisfied with random sex offers as men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 06:18 PM

Where's your evidence?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 05:02 PM

Well, women do for the most part control access to relationships So, you agree with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 05:32 AM

You need therapy. The "benefits" to men are only to a few men. In general, men do not benefit from this.

To a person, these "independent" women see equality as a buffet where they get to take the things that benefit them and leave the things they don't want.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 04:38 AM

"Most women define most men as losers" should really be the title.

That's not even what we're talking about, hence the "that makes zero sense"

I'm not trolling you, just saying the word salad in your comment does not make any sense.

To be clear, it's THEIR money. Why would any man have a problem grasping this? When he contributes more than 50% to THEIR money, then when SHE spends THEIR money, then SHE is spending HIS money. Why would anyone have a problem grasping this?

The part about the wife spending the husband's money. You said that was a bad assumption.

Please show me the statistics showing that on average the wife makes more than the husband.

A lot of it is probably self conscious. I'd add: if changing something made any practical difference in dating or sex, then maybe I'd consider doing something different.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 05:27 PM

Again, all of that is vague. If you never tease members of the opposite sex That, for example. I'm sure if a man asking for dating advice did mention "I can flirt, I'm good at teasing ..." he'd be criticized for actually just being mean. Don't mention you tease? You have bad social skills. Mention you tease? You have bad social skills. When it can be twisted to get the conclusion you set out to get, then it is too vague.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 07:10 PM

It's really not. Can you flirt or not? You're just replacing one vague word with another.

Talking about social skills is a trap, though. You might as well say they needed to pray to Jesus more. Did it and got what you want? See, it work. Did it and didn't get what you want? You didn't do it enough.

"Social skills" isn't mentioned because it's too vague and not easy to measure. Plus, all you have to go by is their own opinion of their social skills when they're writing on the internet.

OK, so you don't want to actually help them.

You took a leap there. Social support (close friends) and therapy is what’s needed fo those who are handicapped. And then they'll magically get sex? Please
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 01:49 PM

It does but it’s not instantaneous. Ok, then all married men should replace their wives with male friend and therapy, let's see how it turns out. Let's see how many of those men are indifferent between wife and male friends + therapy. Instant gratification with little-to-no work put in on their part. No, it's your fantasy. Incels put a lot of work into getting what they want, but then realize it doesn't pay off.

If you don't wanna do the work, ok. "do the work and it works": you actually did the work. "do the work and it does NOT works": you didn't actually do the work. The ??? Is what you need to find out. You are the one who said "confront masculinity," so it is on you. There is no problem with masculinity, if you leave it to me. So, your theory doesn't work. Sit your ass down and understand what makes you happy and what makes you unhappy and move towards the one you prefer. Incels already did that, a…

There's no way to help someone who doesnt want to change. There you go assuming they don't actually want sex and relationships, and haven't already tried the standard advice. The way we talk about male health and male sexuality leads to more men being incels and more men being miserable. It's more the world we live in. "The way we talk about male health" is basically insignificant. The most important factor is women not wanting sex / relationships with most men. What makes men "miserable," what …

You don't want to help incels but ... someone else should? Who? Help means actually getting them romantic relationships. Be real, you don't really want them to get help, you just want them to go away.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 04:04 AM

But, no amount of male friendship, "therapy", whatever is going to replace a romantic relationship with a woman. Unless your solution actually gets them that it is just another form of not caring.

No, because the whole concept is vague and subjective.

How can you ever have hopes of finding a spouse if you assume the worst about them? I don't, and I don't speak for anyone but myself. Fair. But at some point you’re putting all your energy into something that barely works for you and then saying “I can’t help it”. That's why what you're proposing leads, when followed to the logical conclusions, leads down a dark path. try to get something you'll never get don't try and have a life worse than what you were originally trying to get ...?

Going to work and paying taxes is for women? Well, long term, it's hard to be motivated when you know it is practically impossible to do the things you enjoy the most. You do understand that people enjoy sex, right? That people enjoy spending time with a loving spouse, right?

They get everything they want from you. You don't get everything you want, but you should still keep giving them everything they want from you. Even when you don't "engage" with them you still are, only now it's even more advantageous for them. That is, assuming no one wants you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/21 12:43 AM

Do not engage with people who don’t want you. Even if it is all of them. Going to work is engaging with them. Paying taxes is too. What you suggest leads to a very dark place.

The problem with this narrative is that assumes with a broader selection thanks to OLD a lot more women have suddenly become OK with man sharing. begrudging acceptance, combined with not thinking about it often, is enough

about how hard it is to marry, date, hook up or basically have mutually consensual sex with a woman in any way Except for that last part (and I'll get to that in a second), that statement is not contradicted by most men (I'm talking like the 80-90%) have lost their virginities by the time they get to their mid 20s Having sex once and then never again is not really what most people define as "making it." Neither is the part about having been in a relationship. Where are you getting your statistic…

If they don’t then that’s okay too No, not if you enjoy being in a relationship and it is a high priority for you. We're starting from the assumption that some kind of sex/relationship/"women" is part of the goal, and not getting that is the problem. "Don't solve the problem" is not a valid solution, but that's what you're saying.

Focus on your purpose and focus on the money. The women will come once you’ve crossed the finish line, Or they might not.

For men, this means embracing the struggle and not blackpilling yourself. You are not a woman, you are a man (not that there's anything wrong with being a woman). The thought of "becoming" something should excite you. I want to actually succeed, not struggle. The reality is, no amount of work would pay off. I already do the non-dating-stuff I want to do for it's own sake. If we assume that I've become the best possible, however that's defined, it is still very, very unlikely that I would succeed…

Imagine if men as a collective had this mindset when women complain about one guy not wanting her or when women are raped

Having options doesn't imply that any of those options will be desirable or even sufficient. But you get to try, and many men don't even get that.

I don't know how guys think social media taught women that she deserves only 6 foot men with 15 inch dicks. They perceive an abundance of men in OLD, so they think they can afford to hold out for the "best" one.

Entering into ownership in something that will never pay out is not how smart rational people do business. "Pay" is every day, via in-kind services with monetary value. For example, living in the house for a day is effectively getting paid. Assuming two people stay together and die in old age, the assets being used to finance lifestyle in retirement is getting paid. I think both people should be busy doing something contributing to the relationship. How exactly that happens is for the people in …
