I still haven’t told my wife of 10 years (together 15 years) the extent of my childhood trauma. I just can’t do it. This is true. I was told this by many nurses when my son was in the NICU in 2017. My son was born a little over a month early and his lungs were not fully developed. I was told that African American females handled respiratory development the best and white males had the hardest time. Though the term that was used over and over was “wimpy white boy.”

I think you are dealing with a classic nagging wife. Look at the literature on the subject. There is actually a lot out there. It’s a tale as old as time.
