Oh god dude, this isn't a zombie apocalypse, or a nuclear war, or a super volcanoe. There is no threat to food or other basic necessities, all the supply lines are still there and well. This type of disaster only effects certain areas of life, and we just want to intentionally calm some things down in order to try and stop it. Machine learning models don't need that much code to be written, whereas front end work tends to generate lots of lines of code. That was my point, that lines of code are not a good metric for measuring anything. By your logic the front end dev has contributed more, when they haven't.
