this is reddit, not a court of law. my point is that the expected standard of discussion isnt deep and analytical. this is a sub for r/seduction: not the deep analysis of glengarry glenross. your inability to understand that is a perfect example of poor social ability. if this sub is the definition of "serious" for you then your personality must be paper thin. when you go to a bar you dont chat up a girl by correcting her on the fact that glengarry glenross is in fact a play and not a film. lear…

dude u need to take some meds or something, the first thing i said: " youre right, but bro you gotta chill. your response is straight out of r/iamverysmart. " I literally agreed with ur interpretation lmao "Your failure to competently use references and words is a perfect example of what I'm talking about." this is reddit. i did plenty of referencing and care when getting my law degree. reddit is a forum full of memes and casual writing, you taking this shit too seriously shows that you havent g…

you know i agreed with your interpretation of the plays themes right, just not the way you wrote it? u immediately defaulted to attacking my character calling me a "desk jockey". which is a perfect example of what im talking about.

I'm a film editor, you're talking out your ass lmao It's a throwaway, so there's no meaning to the name. I bet you're fun at parties

Brother you replied back with a whole damn thesis and completely missed the point I was making. This is a sub about seduction, learn to read the room. When you're discussing the content of a work it's important to point out which work it is and where it comes from. No it's not, who said that? The Godfather films are originally books, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that refers to them as books and not films. It simply doesn't matter, you're being overly anal. your username seems oddly pret…

being nice is a baseline common deceny. being nice doesnt increase attraction because its expected from everyone.

youre right, but bro you gotta chill. your response is straight out of r/iamverysmart. I'll engage with you sincerely if you want to talk about the play (yea, it's a play that was turned into a film). shit like this just makes you seem condescending. he knows its a play, you even said it in your initial comment.

? These are not mutually exclusive things. Knowing why you feel a certain way doesn't mean you can immediately change that feeling. It just makes you aware of it. However, u can accept these feelings and utilise this awareness to help yourself in other avenues.

How so? I'm agreeing with you and saying that having a crush does effect your ability to form new healthy relationships. However, that can be turned into a "positive" mindset as it can help you achieve more success with other women as u tend to not show as much neediness towards them because they dont mean as much to u as ur crush. Sometimes it even helps u move past ur crush. Utilising this kind of trick is really only something that should be adopted short term and for people who constantly su…

Exactly, however, this is the inverse of abundance mentality. Its still oneitis, it's just tricking yourself into using that mentality into getting abundance results. This works, but it takes a specific kind of person and scenario for it to work in. For example if you are looking for a relationship this is only going to serve to make you more unhappy. But if you want to get with as many girls as you can, this will help.

This is for sure a form of defence mechanism and its great that you're able to acknowledge this. I will also say that if you're aware of this (I don't highly recommend this strategy by the way just using it for discussion). But if you displace your neediness towards a girl that is not going to reciprocate it, it can actually have positive effects with other women and allow you to branch off from there. For instance if you're the type of person who struggles with idolising the girl he's intereste…

ok well that helps contextualise a bit more. didnt know you did it on the phone or even said something at all. i think i can help you a bit, but im making a few assumptions based on my perception of you. to me you seem fairly reserved, slightly nerdy, a bit anxious and probably not considered the most social person in the room. if im wrong about that tell me. clearly you know the problem which is your ability to "flirt". youre supposed to let them know you like them indirectly through flirting. …

yea, thats why im saying dont break the "hey i like you thing" until ur in a spot where you can. but if youre not hanging out with these girls, then how do you even like them?

these same girls go out clubbing and partying. may as well meet them there where your odds are tenfold. if you really want to follow this, best way is to cultivate your own page and reply to their stories. honestly, youre not going to get much success unless your page is banging cause you have clout or a model.

ehh this is fine, but at the same time it doesnt really setup the optimal conditions. if u r going to do this blubt route, it has to be in the right moment. you have to be out having fun in a date type scenario, not talking on the phone or at work or whatever.

5/200 seems to be around the same kind of numbers people tend to pull from tinder. imo these apps dont hurt to use, but they shouldnt be your primary tool. if youd rather be doing something else, you should probably focus on that. but swiping through tinder can be fun every now and then.

people tend to over perceive the speed of their own movements and speech. you might be moving at a slower pace than you realise, unless others have specifically pointed this out to you. also theres differencr between a jittert nervous speed and moving fast with purpose.

ask for their opinion on something. easiest thing and theyll always have an answer that you can playfully disagree with ask them their opinion: your shirt the venue a movie a celebrity a song sport team whatevers there in the moment. its easy and always works if you grab the right thing.

people are gonna just tell u to relax and not worry, but thats not really a solution (although you should still relax). if u really struggle to do this then have some go to questions or topics that you can ask randomly, but dont just load them all up back to back. try to lead them off into proper conversation. genuinely it doesnt matter what they are, just have them as a safety net for yourself. the more irrelevant the better, try to keep it light. dont worry if they struggle to answer something…

cause its causes you to overanalyse all the little things. the way you phrase a question or stand in a group isnt going to get you any results.

If she's not expecting anything romantic then go do an escape room together. That shit is a great activity for dates. It's casual enough and allows one on one time. Also let's you to communicate and lead too.

Since when was being witty and gregarious considered bad? Both are high value traits in anybody, they are not hindering your results. Don't confuse wit with being an immature clown. If you find people are laughing at the things you do, you're a clown. If they pause for a second to get your comment/joke, you're witty. Big difference. Know when to take something serious and when to crack a joke, timing is everything. Also the prevailing consensus has always been to enter a set with slightly higher…

recently had this myself. she flaked on me twice in a row, so i didnt contact at all for 3 months. then just messaged her randomly and got back to chatting over text. she kept pursuing the conversation after that. basically plead the 5th. dont admit to shit being awkward or whatever, even if it is. be busy and message her being friendly and just test the waters. build from there.

bro those arent flirty labels, they are too forward and weird. its bad escalation. and even if she said "babe" first, she probably calls her friends and other people that, so its part of her daily lexicon, whereas its just weird coming from u.

I can read that a girl is interested in me and I manage to ask the number. After I get the number, I can clearly notice there is a high interest from girl. if they were high interest theyd be going out for coffee with you. either youre bad at judging their interest or youre overtexting them.

its hard to tell from what youre saying because youre not explicitly doing anything wrong or you just havent noticed that you are. try switching it up and not going in for the kiss next time and not telling her you had a nice time, let her wonder where she stands with you. also if youre getting these girls off tinder could be that theyre just looking to smash and youre putting in more work than necessary. as for the message: "you seem like an awesome chick" rubs me a little wrong. it feels a lit…

Try not mentioning how you feel about them or how you felt about the date. hit them with a goodnight or some shit then message them again later in the week asking them out. if that doesn't work, try not escalating so much on the first date (as counter-intuitave as that sounds), but you might be playing your hand too early and coming across as too eager.

a 10 doesnt mean "perfect". its a loose rating thats more like giving a movie 5 stars. it's also fine to think a girls a 10, just dont let it affect how you act towards her. if you have to pretend shes less attractive to not be insecure around her then you have other issues that need dealing with. and honestly how differently are you expecting to treat a 9 from a 10 anyway??

It's really about giving yourself the best chance possible. Looks help with that, but it's not the defining factor. Small anecdote: went out clubbing with two of my mates. One is 5'5 and average, the other is 6' and good looking (to the point where he has good looking women ask him out). The 5'5 approached a lot of girls with confidence and decent conversation. He got rejected a fair bit, but he got with a few girls and landed a couple of numbers. He's not that great at "game" either. He's overt…

That's fine, so long as you're not using it as an excuse or a crux for going after women you like now. A lot of advice tells you to be more seductive instead of joyful, more stern instead of playful, more aloof than interested, but if that's against your personality then don't bother. I laugh a lot, smile a lot, give a lot of my attention and it works for me. I even sometimes attract girls that are into badboy types. Just make sure you're not a pushover and are confident enough to escalate with …
