Red Pilled Christian MusicIndelible Grace has some nice versions of old hymns with more contemporary music. Very nice sometimes. Sometimes they just make me yearn for the traditional tune or version. | /r/RPChristians | 18/03/18 12:45 PM
Self-Righteousness, Pietism and RPI always think of this line from Steinbeck..."You should a got a wife," said Joad. "Preacher an' his wife stayed at our place one time. Jehovites they was. Slep' upstairs. Held meetin's in our barnyard. Us kids would listen. That preacher's missus took a god-awful poundin' after ever' night meetin'." | /r/RPChristians | 15/02/18 04:20 PM
V-Day and all thatGreen used to be lime, which was tolerable. Now it is green apple. I have always hated the lemon of the yellow. | /r/askMRP | 12/02/18 01:56 PM
How do you "hear God's voice", the non-cucked way?Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung explains this way of following/ finding God’s will well. Don’t know how to link on mobile. | /r/RPChristians | 11/02/18 12:54 PM
How do you "hear God's voice", the non-cucked way? This. And Hebrews 1 states that old forms of revelation have ceased since now the full revelation through the Son is available. | /r/RPChristians | 11/02/18 12:20 AM
How do you "hear God's voice", the non-cucked way?If your answer contradicts revealed Scripture, it isn’t the Holy Spirit guiding you. | /r/RPChristians | 11/02/18 12:18 AM
V-Day and all thatThe green one's right? Or maybe the yellow? Hate both of them. | /r/askMRP | 10/02/18 03:26 PM
Does theology triumph over biology? To be fair, the article is written by Dieudonné Tamfu and not Piper. Not that it matters a ton to the actual conversation, just making sure the attribitions and/or injunctions on Piper are justified. | /r/RPChristians | 09/02/18 03:26 PM
Christian dating: Good book 2 read together?Haven't read Wilson in some time. I might have to pick this one back up soon. I remember Praise Her in the Gates and Fidelity as well. | /r/RPChristians | 26/01/18 04:06 PM
Christian dating: Good book 2 read together?I’ve had Love and Respect recommended to me several times. Haven’t picked it up yet but one of my pastor’s did a marriage conference and Sunday school curriculum based on it recently. | /r/RPChristians | 26/01/18 01:07 AM
106 - What doesn't workThis is an area I struggle with, not conceptually, but practically. I grew up with a pretty low image of myself. This was exacerbated by other's image of me. I have a minor ocular disability which limited (if not deleted) my ability to engage in sports, so i never had that going for me. My folks were lower middle class so we didn't have the stuff others had. All that jazz. The fallout from that, in my adult life is that I desire validation for pretty much everything. I'm working on it. Reading N… | /r/RPChristians | 25/01/18 06:43 PM
Household LeadershipEven the Bible had ways to address this behavior. Numbers 30:3-16 says that if a girl makes a vow and Dad hears it and says nothing he agrees to the vow. If he says no, then the vow is void. Same system applies to husband/wife relationship. Some of you may be in a position to to overrule some agreements your wife has made, but I imagine others would get a pretty strong fitness test if we tried it. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 28/03/17 05:57 PM
Male Birth Control PillUS Southeast. Illegal or not, I've had three tell me they need wife's written consent or they won't perform. Forget about getting them to do anyone younger than 30 or so. | /r/TheRedPill | 24/03/17 05:41 PM
Male Birth Control PillI'd love to get one. No doctor in my area will perform one without the wife's written consent. How crazy is that? | /r/TheRedPill | 24/03/17 03:19 PM
Career question - Old boss now works for new company messaged me about coming on boardWithout going into specifics, I'll own that I needed to learn a few things from the experience and I wasn't absolutely indispensable. I knew the product better than most there but could have managed myself and others better. Lessons learned. That being said, I couldn't make myself cheaper than overseas labor which is where they moved my department. | /r/askTRP | 24/03/17 10:30 AM
