This thread is old but I’m sure some will come across it like myself… “Splitting”, the book by Bill Eddy and Randi Kreger notes the significance of no fault divorce laws that most states in the US adopted in the 70s as a major contributor to this phenomenon and I’m a firm believer they are right.
