Dude. If she’s sending short texts and taking hours to reply then stop bugging her. Imagine you sorta like this girl but she’s texting your phone every 5 minutes. You just want to play som COD with the homies and every second your phone is buzzing with her saying “hi what’s up?” You try to get her to give you some space with short one word answers but she doesn’t take a hint. It gets boring. It gets annoying. And you lose interest in her. That’s what you’re doing to her. Don’t be the text guy. M…

Move on, talk to other girls. Flirting with you took 0 commitment or effort and it was fun . Going out to dinner? That’s different. She has to decide if it’s worth spending 4 hours getting ready, doing makeup, finding the right outfit so that she can spend another 3 at a restaurant staring at a stranger who’s probably going to ask her if she has siblings, or her favorite color or a million interview while trying to eat a meal that she can’t really enjoy because she doesn’t want to go to town on …

Guys were timid like this a decade ago before the metoo movement. Approach anxiety has always been around. The metoo movement is just an excuse. "Can't kiss the girl who's on a date with me or she'll tell people i'm a rapist". The metoo movement is really about guys making a move in totally inappropriate scenarios, like at work. Are there exceptions like Aziz? Sure but 99% of the world won't chastise you for shooting your shot once you aren't being a creep

Because it's boring. She wants a Man. Not some frightened dude who's afraid to say what he wants. I mean for pete's sake you guys matched on a dating site, and you're going to take 3 dates to even kiss her? If she wasn't interested she wouldn't have gone out with you. Women would rather a guy with some balls who take a risk than a timid chump. It'll dry her all the way up. I'm speaking generally of course.

She's posting with no knowledge of this subreddit. She doesn't know what a cold approach is and is actually equating it with catcalls. It's easy to forget just how much we take for granted.

/u/Ishouldbewriting83 is wrong for trying to invalidate someone else's pain by arguing that "other people have it worse". But more importantly she's wrong because her line of argument inadvertently makes the culture for women worse. It stifle's the conversation, mystifies rape and perpetuates the idea that sexual assault is rare and rapists appear in only clearly defined situations

Lmao. This is BS Don't approach a girl at 3am in a dark alley. Even if she's with friends. But 11am and she's walking out of starbucks? That's totally fine

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
