Dating is not a market. Or if it is, it should not be. I would say one is better off being alone than subjecting another person to being a commodity.

Most specialized communities are circle jerks. That aside I would imagine the negative response was to the implication inherent in the question. That an individual is responsible for another's reaction to romantic rejection. Whether good or bad that is entirely on the rejected party. The other person was just minding their own business.

I don't know if I'd phrase it that way, but the much of the redpill does sacrifice quite a bit of the best parts of being a man. You're better off just shutting up and doing. If you're constantly fighting, struggling, and complaining against a society has gone a way you don't like you're really just showing everyone you have no influence. Or that you lost control of circumstances in your life, and have become bitter. When it comes to relationships, and public interaction I am firmly of the opini…

I can't exactly prove a hypothetical system doesn't work. I can say I get the impression that it's benefits are more a result of creating a mindset that the man has control of the situation. Or at least more than he actually has. A positive mindset and confidence goes a long way in my experience. More than searching for some sort if evolutionary sexual source code. It's dangerous to intentionally manipulate people especially for sex. When it gets around you might find yourself like Dennis did wi…

In my opinion I find that unethical, and probably ineffective in most western countries. Don't get into relationships with people unless you care for them. Even if you do but you just consider this a cherry on top. You are signaling some crippling insecurities that are likely to doom the relationship anyway when they surface, and they will.

It's potentially unethical depending on the age of both parties, and his intentions.

It's not the fact that it's often anecdotal that gives me pause usually unless the story is particularly outlandish I think similar instances probably happen quite frequently. It reminds me of fields like eugenics. Which started off by noticing that people with parents who have substance abuse, criminal, or educational problems often have the same problem themselves. Then they conducted studies and surveys, and found out yep that's the case. In such overwhelming statistical majorities that it mu…

I do detect some growth in popularity around the philosophy among young men. It sort of reminds me of things I've read about eugenics, astrology, phrenology, and other pseudo sciences and psychologies. Mostly because they are all based around substituting correlation for causation. It's a tempting if simplistic way to try to make sense of complex sociological correlations and trends.

I'd say if yall discuss gender dynamics regularly I would suggest that if he wants a traditional woman he should try to be a traditional man. His father sounds like he gives him tremendous opportunity and advantage. Tell him the next time something breaks in your house or car or whatever you expect him to fix it. Watch some YouTube tutorials and make and honest attempt to fix it. My wife had a similar conversation with me, and while I'm not sure if I'm high value. But I can do home maintenance, …

You've misinterpreted. Being attracted to violence and aggression is a major red flag. What is attractive is the ability to handle any given situation. Sometimes that requires physicality so it's important to keep your body in a condition to do that if necessary. The rest is simply confidence. I can tell you for myself, and a lot of other guys the best way to achieve both in a healthy way is to build. If you're not in a position to do so due to finances or living arrangements some volunteer work…

Most of my struggles as a boy were from being either threatened with beatings or receiving beatings.

From a masculine perspective I could see how you get there as being penetrated sexually is not masculine, and would be considered less than or degrading from a traditional masculine mindset. Women for the most part however are not concerned with maintaining masculinity. Nor is it part of their self identity. So no I doubt adopting a non masculine position in sex would be considered degrading to most women.

Don't work your ass off. At least not for anyone else. Entitlement is a stinky cologne. I've always had better luck as a happy loser than a miserable success. You're a man people assume you know what you're doing even if you don't. It's an underutilized advantage in my opinion. Just act like you've got everything under control 9 times out of 10 people are going to go along with it including women. You treat a woman as an equal because you're not breaking your back to impress her. You're not thre…

Hi gen x guy 42 married to second wife. I think that you might be on to something here because I read this sub, and I have no earthly idea what you people are talking about most of the time. I mean dating was always hard, but dating now sounds like some sort of twisted machiavellian strategy game around here. With all the playing advantages, and walls, and expectations. I met girlfriends playing magic the gathering, d&d, drugging, and partying, at a political rally,, one wife in a chat room, and…

Then I would guess there would be a lot more at play than sex. Rampant inflation, and unemployment primarily. You're not just going to stave off political extremism by assigning wives. Afghanistan would be a utopia.

I don't even understand the premise here. Men decide they can't get laid so they just all turn into starving unemployed homeless people in protest which somehow causes wars that they are willing to fight? Why would men go to war if they're on a no sex strike? Putting that aside though. Just magic wand ok we accept that's how this is going down. That is preferable to me than some sort of new age alt right patriarchy. Women have no rights either way. Let's see how many marriages these frustrated m…

Terminology changes so rapidly recently I'm not sure if I'm using it right but I've heard the term "girlboss" thrown around.

I'd say so logically. I'm just saying that wasn't the issue Roe was deciding. In other words the issue you're bringing up is never what was on the table, and as Roe is no more the current answer to your question is now your rights regarding anything medical or reproductive is now whatever your state says they are
/r/MensRights29/06/22 07:01 PM

Because the issue in Roe was not to avoid negative consequences of anyone's actions or whether people have the rightto decideto be parents. The issue was bodily autonomy. Pregnancy doesn't affect the man's body. If you had to say give your blood weekly to keep the fetus alive then you'd have a right to say no. As it is from a bodily autonomy perspective once the egg is fertilized you're just along for the ride it's in her body now.

I have no doubt many will choose to not have sex. That is beside the point what we have here is a green light from the Supreme Court giving state governments control over bodily autonomy. This can lead to any number of questions, but viewing it simply as a woman sex problem is incredibly short sighted. Everyone should be upset.

If you act like you're up to something and have ulterior motives or expectations people are likely to pick up on it. I would just ask if they want to have a coffee or a bite to eat sometime, and that was all I ever expected was a conversation and a coffee. Sometimes they said sure. Sometimes no thanks sometimes they said no and I saw them a few more times talked a little more, and would just say "offer still stands", and they'd take me up on it. Even if they don't wind up going out steadily with…
