Never heard of that one but sadly I’m not surprised this has occurred more than once. Men are vile.

Oh my God I was telling my partner about how Kristen Dunst had to kiss an adult Brad Pitt while she was a child and he couldn’t believe it. How and why would any adult ever agree to that!? It’s disgusting.

My Dad is awful. To everyone outside the family, including my brothers fiancé and even my partner at times, he comes across as a great guy. To us, he’s a manipulative abuser who recently screamed in my sisters face despite her in the middle of a bad vomiting bug. I hate him. My Mum can’t do anything though because he’s the main earner and she doesn’t believe she could afford the house or anything without him. It’s awful. And my sister is stuck at home with him destroying her every day. I hate it…

What does that actually mean?

I really hate it because she’ll share something about lifting other women up and then turn round and make a comment! It’s so frustrating. I’m sorry about your friend, it sounds like a tough situation!

My sister doesn’t do this - she was annoyed at a woman the other day so immediately said “oh and she’s ugly”. While watching a film where a woman was basically conned into having sex she blamed the woman and called her a whore. I really hate it and I’ve tried talking to her about it but she always just says “we’ll agree to disagree”. I’d love to know how to get her to our side!

I've been ill for most of my life but in the past year I deteriorated hugely. I also got the diagnosis for the majority of my problems: fibromyalgia. My fiance stepped up so amazingly, he'd constantly try to lift my mood, help me dress, help me bathe etc. At one point he was even tucking me into bed because I couldn't even manage that. And he's been suffering bad depression at the same time but has still helped me whenever I've needed it.

I’m really glad to hear you’re in recovery for your ED. I actually completely understand - I’m 28 now, but at 16 I ended up in hospital because I stopped eating. I remember being size 6 and my only thought was “ami thin enough? Do I look fat?” It consumed my world, I was always miserable. I look at photos taken at the time and see how unhealthy I was becoming, but at the time I felt the opposite. I’m now at the other end - my health has had a big impact on my weight and at the minute I’m trying …

I’m certainly rethinking my attitude towards him now!

I’ve been considering period underwear… I have endometriosis and have an implant so I go months not bleeding and then have basically a blood bath for a few weeks. I bleed SO heavily so I wasn’t sure if period underwear would be enough?

This is an excellent philosophy!

Yes! I’ve never understood thongs for instance, and never worn one!

I also love that scene! Though he truly was a LVM!!

Hahaha. I don’t have an actual underwear drawer yet so I’m using a fabric box thingy… plus I also find it relaxing and I enjoy the order!

Definitely, it makes me sad that I actually used to really like Shallow Hal, whereas now I see it for what it is.

I assume if they’re examining her stomach and she has to lower her pants a bit she wants some modesty!

Hahaha I couldn’t! A friend of my Mums never wears underwear to the point that she doesn’t even own it, so if she has to go to the doctor etc she has to buy some! I couldn’t 😂

I don’t think I’ll ever understand the whole “big booty” trend! My knickers are more “granny” and high waisted, but they’re comfortable!

Same! I put on weight over the pandemic and my fibromyalgia has been debilitating - I just decided I want to wear “granny” knickers because they actually help (lord knows how). Exactly! Plus I’m like “my body is just my shell, if someone can’t get past that to the me underneath, they aren’t worthy of the me underneath!”

Oh my goodness! Finally people who agree with me! That film winds me up sooo much for these reasons!

Agree so much! When I first started dating my fiancé I refused to run to keep up with him, it took like half a second for him to stick to my pace. Even when we were walking with his friends, they’d be far ahead and it would be me and him behind at my pace. I’m now barely able to walk and am sooo much slower but he still sticks to my pace! My best friends husband has always walked miles ahead of her so she’s had to learn to walk at mega speed - when I first found out I was like “why on Earth woul…
