You can quantify socialization’s impacts on sociological statistical outcomes. Wrong.

You’re absolutely correct. It’s not just that their sexual needs are met; they are more likely to value other needs more highly than those sexual, such as security, or social confirmation from other females regarding the male they would pursue. Sex and sexuality for women overall presents more of an inherent risk than it does for men so their selective criteria are not aligned with ours typically. But you know all this.

Did you miss the quotation marks, Darwin?

No, but you can’t quantify biological factors in the context of social conjecture without stepping into the territory of unfounded “evolutionary psychology”

Bitchless men who fail to understand women have fundamentally different sexual/romantic desires and motivations than men as a result of their socialization (on average, with some but few exceptions)…who would’ve thought?

My grandfather is a very handsome man with hobbies and interests outside of his career. He gave up decades ago after his second marriage failed. Wholesale stopped pursuing romantic relationships and invested his time in his work, Grandchildren, and hobbies/social life. He is not unhappy, his grandchildren bring him joy.

Tons of tall guys don’t like girls close to their size…they lose the power dynamics of towering over them. That’s why short and mid sized height genes continue to propagate

Mr. Girl gives off insane creep vibes at all hours of the day. None of this should surprise you and if your social style is similar to his, I’d readjust

Key word is “away,” you can give an explanation as to why someone was inclined to make terrible decisions over and over again but that doesn’t necessarily justify it

If before getting together, you had “the” experience yourself, you actually still wouldn’t know what it was like for him, and vice Versa, because they vary in quality. This coming from someone dating a person who had a traumatizingly bad one, then a great one once we got together.

Unresolved trauma can also explain away why people abuse/cheat/are bad using that same logic

The source of this conservatism is more often than not rooted in preventatives measures taken against all the pitfalls and trappings of non-developed and developing countries. Fertility rates are still high, sexual education is scarce or insufficient, reproductive healthcare is risky or inaccessible, and academia and most other authority structures are closed off to women forcing them to resort to primarily domestic life and child rearing.

Hate to break it to you dude but I’ve never been demeaned by a woman to the extent you’ve apparently experienced repeatedly, and if I had I’d have exited their lives swiftly and in totality…

It’s highly unlikely those women are exclusive to their men. Maybe on paper but not in reality. Why would they be?

Whether you agree with it or not, the inference is that the less desirable man has to invest more years of their life into obtaining a debatably less youthful and desirable partner in these women, who have already had their fun and invested their best years in dead end relationships with Chad.

I’ve personally observed this while spending time with certain groups of women and seeing how they speak about their partners. Rarely are they jumping at the chance to praise the positive elements of their relationships but rather vent about negatives, especially if one friend has started the conversation and they feel a need to show they are in solidarity by providing their own examples. Of course this isn’t representative of all women and their friend groups, just a trend I’ve personally notic…

Think about it, you’re with your girls and they’re all bitching about relationship issues. Why would you be honest and share the positive experiences you’ve had with men or your significant other and ruin the negative vibe/risk making them jealous or giving them reason to label you a “pick-me?” The established culture is one of complaint, pessimism, and encouraging one another to leave any viable relationship so that the more single, more dysfunctional counterparts can have company in their mise…

I don’t want to attack you I even agree with several of the points you made in threads further up but you appeared to jump to conclusions and became immediately hostile in this one for some reason. I think men and women alternatively have specific, differing categories in which they displease or fall short of each other’s expectations

Classic cop out along the lines of feigned sudden disinterest “have a nice day” with the juicy bonus of the ALSO classic “I got more social media points so I must be right.” Simply fantastic!

Women using their beauty as leverage to get a desirable man and men using their status to get beautiful women are fine, but both change when in the context of a mutually agreed-upon monogamous relationship.

Sounds like you have a romanticized view of romance and expect someone you meet to cinematically sweep you off your feet and ride off with you into the sunset to live happily ever after. The truth is dating does involve many of the same steps that you would have to take to, say, decide on a new vehicle. This is of course an extremely reductive analogy but if you have issues with the tedious aspects of finding a life partner, just wait until you have to partake in the tedium involved in virtually…

What's incredible is that the simple mutual capability of being able to even consider and attempt to apply that strategy is probably related to the key ingredients of every successful marriage.

Seems to me they just described in detail why they think marriage is absurd and you simultaneously overlooked it and found a way to paint them as not deserving of a contractual obligation to a significant other that they clearly don’t want anyway.

You could have had just as beautiful a relationship without the legal contract and ramifications of divorce hanging over your head. Many people meet and are perfect for each other until something goes horribly wrong, and there could be no indication ahead of time. Marriage is always a huge gamble, even if you’re certain you want to gamble on a certain person
