71	What are some examples of imbalanced relationships that stand/stood out to you in media? I’m currently rewatching Harry Potter for the first time since joining FDS, and I’m finding Hermione’s relationship with Ron… a lot less endearing than I used to 🥴 Ok this movie deserves its own post. I remember watching Oprah and she said it was the worst movie for little girls to watch and I agree COMPLETELY. Who approved that script? Men do not view workers as human let alone as potential partners. It just totally glossed over the soul grinding dehumanizing aspect of having to sleep with disgusting men to make rent. Sheesh. This world is too much. I cannot bear the thought of women and children suffering like this. Yet I know this is how most of them live in developing nations. I’d say the majority of women in this world have a hellish life due to varying degrees of slavery ( be it domestic for a husband or in the workforce as a severely underpaid laborer) and of course violence and sexual abuse.
