I get that they have a platform to speak, but it's a chore to have to constantly search for a view that I know I won't agree with anyways. I commented in that thread in support of her for coming out and telling her story, and I did so for a few reasons. I've seen many a countless time where female pedophiles are let off the hook while male pedophiles are at worst shamed. She expressed in that thread that she is shocked at how bad male pedophiles have it. She expected there to be much backlash but because she is a woman there was significantly little. I'm not arguing for equal enforcement of stereotypes. I'm arguing for equal enforcement of rights. If a woman being assaulted is considered horrible, why is it not the same for this kid?
