I do find these role reversal experiments interesting though. In a fantasy world, we would all be required to BE a member of the opposite Gender for a year. This would be eye opening and immersive, and I feel the differences could be appreciated rather than just noted as they seem to be today. You did the right thing to minimize contact. For some, it’s done kind of tongue in cheek as a joke, because no one, not even most men, will call them on their crazy ideas. Thank you for your kind words. I guess for me, it’s simply the sexes are equal, but different. There is a slight wage gap, for instance, but is it due to gender, or is it due to other factors like experience, time worked, hours worked, and the propensity to do the jobs that are dangerous or out in the elements?

Yup….. over 30 yrs in HR. All women….. and an occasional gay male. It’s great if you are female going to HR a you know they will commiserate…. But if a male comes in, I am afraid he won’t get same commiseration

Agree. I see it as more a pendulum….. it was once all the way over to the men’s side, now is on ours. The problem is when we try to adjust that pendulum in mid flight

As a woman, I can say is she doesn't answer, you shouldn't pressure or nag her to respond. She may not be that into you. My suggestion is simply one message to her. Wait a couple days. If nothing in that time, move on. You're wasting your time with her. Absolutely resist the temptation to message her again.

I also agree with the OP.....58, female. We as women have been conditioned to feel like we got the short end of the stick our whole lives.....and after decades of this, you guys can imagine its basically like being brainwashed.
