I honestly believe that the stigma started as religious thing, but now it is seen by women as somehow hurting their ability to manipulate men. They will have to become industrial mechanics (millwrights), pipe fitters, welders, plumbers, electricians, and all the other jobs that men used to do. For the most part we are mostly used as nothing more than labor. We are so conditioned to providing labor that we get a lot of our self worth from it. The bad part is that we are usually managed or told of all the things we do wrong and sometimes never hear of anything we do right. We are treated like we are expendable at home and at work. Why would a man want to out live a woman under these conditions? At some point a heart attack or cancer doesn’t sound so bad.

I agree. I will not be a burden on my children when I get to that age and/or poor health. This is why assisted suicide should be made legal in the US. I would almost rather have an expiration date so that I can transfer whatever wealth I have accumulated to my kids than give it to the medical system. Fuck those assholes.

It goes down significantly when you have kids and hit 40 as a male. I think of it in terms of prioritized interests. Would I rather have sex or go fishing? It was a no brainer in my 20s to have sex. Now it’s a no brainer to go fishing. My buddies and I had an after 40 bachelor party and we all talked about this. It’s not that we don’t want to, but we have to manage our time and energy now.

Delusion. It was much easier to get under 9% body fat in my 20s than in my 40s after kids. If we’re being honest. Since having kids I’ve been working on my dad bod and it’s coming along nicely.

We used to call the less attractive woman the “grenade”. It was always someone’s job to catch the “grenade” to prevent this from happening. We had this one buddy who is still a pro bodybuilder. I don’t know if it’s the steroids or what, but he would volunteer to catch the grenade EVERY time to make sure everyone had a good time.
