2	What have we become? Well there has to be a line between the suffering it causes and the joy it will create. Overall, i think quite a few wars were beneficial to humanity when you compare how much pain they caused vs the progress that ensued. 2	What have we become? Technically yes. While there is a great loss of life in wars, especially civilian lives, war tends to push the economy culture forward in the years after it.
