Yeah I don’t really understand why, I’ve actually had some really informative replies. Do the mods actually reply if i ask for an explanation?

But everyone has a different opinion? Unless they are an outright narcissist, looks are not the majority of the equation. Everyone has to put in work dating, attractive shitty people are lonely too, they just probably get more one night stands.

I guess, but if I’m honest why would you want to date either? Is dating really all about looks? I’ve dated incredibly attractive people who were shit in bed and had no prospects, I am currently dating a somewhat attractive person who makes a lot of money and is great in bed. To me, both were attractive but in different ways. I think the stacey/chad idea is stupid because different people want and need different things. It’s not all about looks.

No I mean like some kid going too far down the red pill road and shooting up a sorority again. I know it’s just a discussion, but these are some people’s real life struggles, even if there are a bit, well first world. I respect a good debate, but I also wonder who is reading these discussions and taking them to heart. Is that healthy?

I hope so too, I worry that some of this discussion does radicalise people though. We’ve seen it before…

As a queer person, non-binary but born and raised female, I have a really different perspective to my mother and grandmothers on my relationship with men. My matriarchs had no choice in the matter, and to be fair the men in my family are either mildly useless or have severe anger issues. Me on the other had, I could marry a woman but I chose to date men. Some of the men in my generation have also watched the miserable dynamics of our parents and grandparents and thought ‘well, I don’t want to be…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
