Other's have given some decent advice here, but here is some more: If you fail and accidentally find yourself in a sexual interaction (or an interaction that could be deemed sexual) with a woman, report her to the Title IX office for sexual misconduct as quickly as possible. It's a race. Whoever gets their first is the victim, whoever gets there second is the perpetrator.

We don't really know yet the full impact on Ansari's career. Hopefully it will only be a blip, but we won't really know for another 5+ years. To me, the big concern isn't about false accusation or vindictiveness. It's most about, yes, women being hypersensitive (especially after #MeToo) and blowing shit way out of proportion. That one group has something that another does not is not oppression. One group being legally prohibited from that thing while another group has it legally granted to them is oppression. If I have a Mercedes and you don't, that's not oppression. If I have a Mercedes and the government prohibits you from buying a Mercedes because you're a 25 year old black male with no need for a Mercedes, that's oppression.

I think the OP and others like him need to be more clear when they talk about oppression. Being legally prohibited from voting, for example, is actual oppression and it was corrected and is no longer an issue for women (it is for those under age 18, but that's a different topic). But if by "oppression" he means that they chose to not get a job and instead lived off the proceeds of a man's labor and that somehow means that the woman was oppressed... yeah, not so much.

The "making up for past discrimination" doesn't really carry much weight with me. I'm really only interested in the current status. If something is unequal today, in this exact moment, we should work to eliminate that inequality. Once the inequality is eliminated, the job is done.

Men's rights activism ignoring (much less supporting) feminism is like the civil rights movement ignoring the KKK. When you have one group actively fighting against what you are trying to achieve, you need to address that group and stop them before you can start making progress towards your own goals. They said they found prosecutors went after women who were teenagers, reportedly had mental health issues, had experienced past physical and sexual assault, or were grappling with drug and alcohol addiction. Yep, people who commit crimes often suffer from these types of inflictions. They are welcome to bring it up in their trial and in the sentencing. Juries and judges then take that into account.
