I was talking about men who leave when their girlfriends get pregnant not marriage

Just because there were some women in history who did as well as men doesn't mean that the majority of women weren't victims, and still are, to the patriarchal standard.

Congratulations on class consciousness, but remember that you can't be a true Marxist without also supporting feminists values. Also, I apologize for assuming you were a man, and I hope you understand that it is mostly men in this sub, but again: I'm sorry.

How is anti-centrism the same as feminism I mean I am a feminist, but not cause I'm anti-centrist.

You have to understand that it is dangerous to generalize a whole demographic without having concrete evidence to show us why it is that way. I get that dating can be hard, but that's not a gendered issue. Everyone, regardless of gender is trying to make it out alive, and it rarely is as two-dimensional as people attempt to make it out to be. Be careful

No no no, what you're spreading is the idea that almost all "western" women are huge jerks and that misandry is equally, if not more, harmful than misogyny in society today.

I don't give a shit if old war criminal white capitalist Joe Biden says he's a feminist, because what does it matter if he doesn't even help the cause. Now, many men say that because they themselves aren’t in power that means that the patriarchy doesn’t exist. I.E. 99% of men. You don't get my point. Yes, 99% of men are not in control, but they still benefit from the patriarchy. You're problem is with capitalism and the rich 1% hoarding the wealth, but I highly doubt you'd be open to a Marxist v…

Where the hell do you get these "facts" from. You can't just pull shit out of your ass and end all discussion when I demand proof that this happens on a usual basis. I understand how it could work, but that doesn't mean it actually happens.

If women are so monstrous, how come the dad's usually the one who's leaving? Also, I was talking about women who simply don't want kids. Why would someone have a kid if they don't want to?

I'm not denying that men also suffer under the patriarchy, quite the opposite, but you can't seriously suggest that men have it worse in society than women because they might have to pay child support. Also, it is not rare that women don't get the benefit of the doubt in domestic abuse and rape cases. You constantly whine about how terrible false allegations are to the few men who experience but you turn a blind eye when it comes to the rapist who are released because it's incredibly hard to pro…

Facts, how are these facts? Have you ever met someone in a relationship with multiple people at the same time? It's not as common as you make it out to be. I assure you that there's someone out there for everyone.

If you don't believe the patriarchy, how come pretty much all of the world's leaders and richest people are men? Also, What kind of social system are we living in then , a matriarchy?
/r/MensRights29/02/24 05:31 PM

In the simplest definition, Patriarchy is seen as a social system in which the positions of dominance and privilege are held by men. It basically means that a large percentage of those with capital, power or both are mostly men. Now, many men say that because they themselves aren’t in power that means that the patriarchy doesn’t exist. But what they fail to realize is the fact that the patriarchy works on all stages, not just at the top. For the patriarchs to stay in power everyone in society ha…
