i get where you're coming from. if they agreed to 1 kid then husband changes his mind that's on him. i know a guys who wanted to be done having kids and wives wanted more. either way it's difficult because one person is less enthusiastic about it. i think it's worse if the man changes his mind and says he wants more personally but either way i think a healthy couple can work together to create fairness. if one has to sacrifice here, the other better make it up to them somehow. if not committed t…

you're saying a woman lays down her life for a man and that's what having a child is. this is so disingenuous though and anyone reading knows it. the reason women willingly chose pregnancy is to have their own child, their own family. there is sacrifice involved but it's not purely to benefit some man, it's simply a fact of life. if you want your own child, you have your own child. if you are mad at mother nature, take it up with her but you cannot be mad at men because of how nature works. on t…

If a woman loved you and acted as a surrogate then never saw the kids again, that would be along the lines of what you are saying. In reality, many women find the deepest meaning in life in having kids and grandkids. Many women realize it's a wonderful thing to have family.. Your family, your people, your community vs being old and alone having chased shiny objects. These things are etched into our dna. Having children is not a selfless act unless a woman hates the idea, doesnt want them, and do…

Single males are assumed to be morally inferior, selfish. Single females are assumed to be virtuous, brave. Society applies these assumptions, celebrating a single woman 'taking care of herself' with lavish spending. A single guy doing the same behaviors is selfish since self care doesnt apply. Society can not fathom what it would be like to cheer for a human soul (male) seeking happiness. This is imo due to an assumption of moral inferiority. A guy is morally guilty, till proven innocent. The n…

Respect: 'a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. ' Studies have shown gender differences are real, but modern thought does not want to admire masculinity. I and my friend circle and most men I know what to strive, build, create etc. In 2021 civilization stands on the backs of those who sacrificed emotional and physical well-being, to strive. No human is perfect. We are all flawed. I wish there was space to have deep apprecia…

I like your post and I started responding then got carried away. Take this as me trying to process things for myself, but if helpful to anyone else, good. ------------ Why do you assume people are rational? If anything you should assume the opposite. College graduates, people with access to internet, modern people in general, who you would assume to be rational people, resistant to the influences of of snake oil salesmen, horoscopes or cults, are infact very succeptable. Studies demonstrate ag…

I've come to the conclusion that I need a very very very broad perspective on reality. I'm reading about history, nature, other countries, human rights issues in various parts of the world (like modern slavery), math, and philosophy. I plan to waste zero time on anyone who pushes anti-male biggotry, and just live a bit more of an insular life. I am going to lose out some socially, but I am going to gain a more enriching life in another sense. I am done being directly or indirectly shamed by thos…

Edit: I think you are genuinely asking. That's fucked up and wrong. What was he thinking? He was horny and a piece of shit. Can you comprehend why I will not go onto a women's rights website and post about the woman in my town who recently drove her middleschool son to suicide? That would be me detracting from them discussing women's issues and a bit tacky. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt tho because that is something that is needed in this world. I feel for you. That must have felt humi…

You are right, but also correct is his assertion that violence committed by women against men is seen as trivial. Similarly to how women are sexually objectified at times, men are objectified for skits/commercials etc as a punchingbag. Bad thing happens to male, we all laugh. We probably need better language for the objectification of men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
