3	Is victim-blaming something that female victims of sexual assault actually face? I'm a female survivor of childhood sexual abuse and I definitely felt like I was blamed by certain people who were close to me. Having said that, I think men have less access to benefits that help victims and there is more social stigma against male survivors. 10	Why do we socially consider sexual abuse in underage victims worse if the victim is female than if the victim is male? I am a female survivor of childhood sexual abuse and I can say with certainty that male survivors have a way harder time. There's less support, way more stigma, both in terms of surviving abuse but also in seeking help, and a lot of flat out denial that abuse even happened (eg, you slept with your teacher, you're so lucky narrative.) Like I'm having a hard time believing that someone actually has to explain to you that it's both illegal and immoral to have sex with a minor and that is a separate issue from legal sex work. Professionals are professionals because they sell their skills, not because of immigration laws in different countries. An American lawyer or doctor couldn't just immigrate to Canada and start working as a lawyer or a doctor. Certainly these are still professions? There are also a number laws that prohibit the use of substances in specific areas. We also have laws governing consent. There are also places where prostitution is legal and is taxable income. Laws that protect sex workers protect male sex workers, too. Maybe even more since men in sex work are at a higher risk of abuse and even death than women sex workers. 1	I just had a recent thought In some places servers and retailers can be fined or even imprisoned for selling alcohol to a person who is drunk who then gets into an accident.
