I think your reading into it too much tbh. They used that scene to show how strong the white walker army is. Ex Here is this massive army with flaming swords and they get desimated in seconds. I do agree with you that they were disappointing but it was a great way to show the battle to come.

Have you ever been out of a city. Botswana is the best place to go fishing in the whole of Africa. Botswana doesn't cater to people who are stuck in their phones 24/7. I don't live in a third world country and when I go hunting I still don't get signal. It is a developing country and you can't expect it to look like Switzerland but unless you have been there, you can't say it is a shithole.

I stayed there for a few weeks and I have a few friends who live there. Don't confuse Botswana with central Africa. On my stay there I slept in a tent in the middle of salt flats all the way to a 5 star place.

Take a look at David Goggins and maybe read his book. You can learn alot from him and maybe work on your mental state in order to push yourself further. But you should be the example for other people and be the one that young kids can look up to.
