For sure. Ill just look into it when I can then. Because i know some of the numbers you stated are close to where ive seen them before, but it has been a while since Ive read into it any further than snippets here and there. I know that shaming will never go away, and I do feel that sheltering folks and babying them is not the way to go either. It easy to be complacent without people (or life) riding your ass though. Especially now, people have their toxic little hugboxes where they can go and f…

I never said that we should turn a blind eye to promiscuity and give everyone asspats for it. Shaming a person, and addressing a problem are two different things. Shaming is counterproductive and can often make an individual act out further. Human beings are funny like that, they tend to continue behavior they feel guilty doing. I'll look it up when I get back Please do source that. Im going to go ahead and withhold commentary until valid sources are provided. No point in arguing over estimation…

I never got all hyphy and militant with you man. So just chillax. Geez. When I came into this thread, the topic was pretty much male involvement in female promiscuity and the damage resulting from it. Bringing up male focused points regarding the idea of promiscuity being a problem that needs to be solved is not something outlandish. IMO, its just a bunch of damaged people damaging each other, and while that might not change anytime soon if it all, both sides of a situation regarding two people …

However, the types that constantly engage in this behavior with different men tend to be already damaged What about the types of men that do the same with women? Are they free of damage? I think both are seeking validation from sex in one form or another. With the choices of words in this statement i can only infer that you are reinforcing your bias that there is no problem with men having large amounts of partners, but it is bad for women to do so. I actually have no problems with sluts Well if…

Could you please direct me to the source of your numbers and claims? Im fairly curious. The no fault system has its flaws, but that doesnt necessarily mean that forcing two people (that perhaps should not be married at all) to stay married by some means or another is a good idea either. There are a lot of factors that could explain why number of "illegitamate children" used to be lower, the main one being that divorce is not nearly as stigmatized as it was before. I can only speak for U.S. cultu…

I think its all subjective. Everyone has their own personal set of needs where friends are concerned. Overall though, gender has no relation to whether or not somebody is a raging dick and/or not good friend material. Personality and interests arent gender specific.

If you actually believe that, I don't consider people like you feminists. I seriously doubt most feminists would either. It's a real shame that the radfems have pushed it that far. To the point that most people, even feminists themselves, dont consider reasonable supporters "true". To be clear: you believe men and women are both oppressors and oppressed? You believe men can be oppressed as men? Yes to both. I think that the idea that people are expected to act a certain way, be treated a certain…

I support both feminism and MRA, I dont think men are the sole oppressors, I think society as a whole is. men, women and everything in between. If you ask any reasonable, non-radical of either "side" youll find people that support equality. Its called a vocal minority friend. Try not to overgeneralize, it make you look just as bitter as all the other radicals.

Ive seen it used well in the context of an article explaining the issues surrounding the word, or the concept behind the word. But in argument? No way. Of course people like to use it gain false ground in arguments more than anything though. The words been pretty much ruined by radical assholes, which is a pity because its a pretty nice shortcut around explaining the concept.

I dont think anyone truly does until they actually have to raise a child and even then, I think there are many people that still dont despite having adult children. Im very sorry to hear about what happened to you. I hope you dont harbor any guilt over it. There is no shame in what happened to you. Well, if and when you do have children I hope that you succeed in raising them to be strong, iron-willed, individuals. Though, I see it being a fine line to walk raising a woman that is both submissiv…

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions thoughtfully and courteously. You seem like you would have the best intentions in mind for your children and I can appreciate that, I just do not agree with your life views. Im glad that you would support your child in what they chose to do. Wouldnt raising a girl to be submissive to all men, no matter who they are, deprive her of freedom though? Coudnt it also be potentially dangerous when it comes to the matters of sexual assault or other viole…

So how exactly do you plan to raise an individual human being to grow into the person that you want them to become? What If they do not grow up to your expectations? What if they rebel against the lifestyle you want them to adopt?

i guess. Honestly, "his women" need to learn how to be decent human beings, not how to be women (whatever the hell that means because this isnt the 50s anymore). He needs to be teaching himself how to be assertive before he can teach anyone else shit.

All of them need a telling off. Its both the husband and the wifes fault, mainly. Youre only a victim if you let yourself be one. Plus acting like a passive victim also makes you a target (thats pretty obvious). The mother reinforces the behavior by taking advantage of it, teaching her child to be a sour shit. You cant entirely blame the kid, but she needs to get told too. Bottom line, they shouldnt have been married, and never should have had kids thats what makes me sick here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
