Women aren't told that their best dating years are early in life. Men aren't told that their best dating years are later in life. Your friends all fell into that trap, while their spouses did exactly what they should've been doing. Sad, but true.

lol bro from the headline I thought this was going to be a bad story. Sounds to me like you handled everything pretty much perfectly (you should have just let your LTR go instead of trying to "explain" anything to her). You gave her the reins, the ball was completely in her court, she could have stopped at any time and yet chose not to (until she had her own needs satisfied, of course). My advice is just plate the 8 if you can (though if she's a co-worker you may have already fucked up). Otherwi…

More confirmation that we are done as a society. This dawned on me over the past couple of weeks, we are simply screwed. There are just too many people who think like this, and they wield way too much influence, and they are emboldened by a mainstream culture that has drowned themselves in the Kool-Aid. These people cannot be reasoned with, to them ignorance is the shit and they are the pigs. "Do not use business sources, they blame women." Unbelievable.

I would suggest in the "dating" and "relationship" categories you list "Sex" as a pro. This does two things, as on one hand it demonstrates that sex is usually the ONLY potential benefit to dating and relationships for a man (an irony, since women hate being reduced to sex objects). On top of that, this also serves as a more stark contrast to the "dead bedroom" that awaits married men.

I was going to dogpile on here and tell you to be careful; but then I figured you're the next generation. If you and your friends and more like you are NOT careful, if more of you speak out and make videos and troll and shitpost and speak up in class, things could possibly change for you and your generation. Onward! Just be sure to watch your ass!

People around here seem to mock the notion, since it's so popular on the TRP board, but have you tried weight training? Or ANY type of exercise? All you really need is about 45 minutes a day. Exercise is the BEST antidepressant there is, and if you're strapped for cash there are PLENTY of ways around that (you don't need a gym membership or fancy equipment if you know what you're doing). Stay strong man, get some exercise, and take care of yourself. You'll come out of this a BETTER man than you …

It's obvious that this person didn't even READ the paper, but only read the biased news coverage about it instead. There is nowhere in that paper where he states women are incapable of working in tech because of biology. He was stating is that the disparity in demographics COULD BE due to biological factors, and listed several ways OTHER than quota-based hiring that could be used to entice female candidates. This is even more ironic considering that these are the same people that go on and on ab…

how many talented young men, graduating from schools with their PhD want to work at Google now? EXACTLY. Hopefully smart young men, aka Google's most valuable resource, will see how men like Damore are purged and will think twice about wanting to join a company with that kind of culture, that exhibits this kind of groupthink. They would HAVE to see how poisonous Google's attitude is toward true innovation and growth, based on their actions with Dr. Damore.

Something tells me this event may have a bigger and more positive impact down the line than we can really perceive right now. This man's essay and highly public firing occurs at a time when cultural and political lines are being actively discussed and redrawn. Due to Google's sheer size, reach, and influence, along with the highly controversial subject matter, a LOT of people are going to wind up seeing that essay, and I think that many are going to see how reasonable it actually is. She is trying and failing to make an analogy about rape, but is too stupid to realize that equating rape to frivolous and petty theft trivializes rape and its victims. Furthermore her argument is undermined because she assumes most people understand that taking other people's shit is wrong; she somehow is able to think of this analogy without it occurring to her that underneath her story is the understanding that EVERYONE knows that rape is illegal. Rapists also tend to know this, they just don'…

Have to agree here. I've met a couple cool chicks off of Tinder, but that is two out of probably HUNDREDS of matches and bullshit convos, along with thousands of swipes. In addition to time wasted trying to text these girls in a way that stands out among the other 987,766,872,765 messages they get, a lot of them will flake last minute, or unmatch you if you write anything they find slightly offensive. On a broader scale this is the question that most of the mainstream coverage of RP and its offshoots avoids. Everyone knows that men want sex. Everyone knows that men will do and have done great and terrible and stupid things just to secure the "love" of women. Knowing that, the rest of the world, gripped by the mystery of MGTOW, has yet to really ask the most pertinent question: What is it about WOMEN that is driving men of ALL ages, all over the world, to VOLUNTARILY give up pussy? Marvel's comic division is tanking due to bullshit just like this. If filmmakers start listening to this then the MCU is done for, and they won't even care because they believe they are on then"right side of history" Also, does it strike anyone else that in order to complain about "Fragile Masculinity", one probably has to have insecurity about their own Femininity? It's essentially as if they are threatened by men having respect for themselves.

That article had everything I was looking for--vanity, solipsism, lack of self-awareness, delusion, blaming and shaming. It took me on a ride, it was all there. It was perfect. When viewership inevitably suffers, they'll blame it on the normalization of misogyny in Trump's America. The irony is that women like Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder) and now Issa Rae (Insecure) are actually creating their own legacy. On Broadway women like Lynn Nottage (2-time Pulitzer-winning playwright) and Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) are also making strides, creating stories that people are flocking to see. (And on a side note, even though America is …

"Chivalry IS dead. And women killed it." ~Dave Chappelle I didn't understand this quote until recently. The extra attention and appreciation demonstrated by chivalrous acts is virtually NEVER returned by the modern woman, who often does not think she has anything to do but bring her sexuality to the table (while, of course, complaining about being reduced to sex objects). Someone else alluded to this, but just as women in the mid-20th century reexamined their roles, we men are now reexamining ou…

I actually don't begrudge women for being afraid and for wanting safety. I think her anger at male indifference is justifiable--men have to put themselves in the shoes of a person that is maybe 5'4”, weights just over a 100 pounds, and is vastly physically inferior to half the population on the planet. Yes, we are far more likely to be victims of violence, but if push came to shove we have a far better chance at escaping or surviving the encounter. Of course, what she forgets during her tirade o…

Accept that it's going to feel like shit for a while; you can no more "walk off" a broken heart than you can a broken leg. Don't wallow in your pain, but don't bury it either, that's not healthy. I DON'T recommend trying to sleep with a bunch of new girls. You'll only end up hurting yourself AND them, and likely feel even worse about yourself. Read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert Glover. I am 35, I was in a 3.5 year LTR that was actually pretty good. I ended it, and was sad about it (there were several factors involved). I missed her for a long, long time. Still do, she's great. I skimmed this article half-thinking it was a hoax of some sort. The "woman-as-victim" framing is so unsubtle and so utterly superfluous that it borders on parody. The "gender step gap"? "Activity inequality"? The fact that the women in this study walked less "has negative consequences for women"? Are you kidding me?? Can these people ever NOT see women as helpless victims? It beggars belief that they can't see how patronizing and poisonous this mindset/worldview is.

Actor here. Penn's stunt really pissed me off; another example of the stupidity of actors as well as the peculiar ignorance of ideologues. First of all, actor salaries aren't determined in a linear fashion. SAG-AFTRA, the actor's union that covers employment in film, TV, and radio, has minimum salaries that producers are required to pay their actors. Anything above that IS NEGOTIATED BY THE ACTOR'S REPRESENTATIVES. So right off the bat, if these actresses feel they are not making enough, they ne…

I'm a New Yorker, and have been so for over ten years, and NOT ONCE have I EVER seen a woman accommodate someone else on a crowded train. I was on crutches one winter and had to take the train to get to school, and it was SOLELY MEN that held train doors open for me, who gave up their seats for me; women were pissed because I was in their way!

Funny, my initial reaction to the headline is "wow, those men are having a rough time. I wonder what's causing them such malaise?" The writer, and by extension The Atlantic, on the other hand, only cares about making women look like heroes. It's too early to be this pissed off.

Some years ago I had a badly-sprained ankle during a harsh NYC winter. I was in grad school at the time, so I had long days of crutching through the snow early in the morning, to get to a crowded rush hour subway train. As a New Yorker I will tell you, navigating the city during rush hour can be stressful enough when you're healthy; here I was on CRUTCHES. This entire time, NOT ONE WOMAN EVER helped me: it was men who held train doors open, so I wouldn't miss it; it was men who gave up their sea…

Absolutely agreed. Turning 35 this year, was told just the other day by a MILF that I look like I'm 25. Spent much of 2016 banging women at least ten years younger than myself. I would never have believed any of it was possible without the manosphere and guys like you all. Should also add that I am a broke artist. My game isn't even tight, tbh, so if I can do it, I'm sure many, many other guys can.

A great many of them assume that their success in other areas gives them cache in the mating market. The simple truth is having a degree only means that you stuck to a curriculum. As a teen I worked at a fast food restaurant, and every once in a while I was called upon for light custodial work. The WORST and most DISGUSTING room in that entire establishment was ALWAYS the women's bathroom. Strands of hair, balled up tissue with blood stains, and the SMELL. O God, that rancid, pungent SMELL. I was sixteen years old. That was likely the beginning of me learning to take girls off the pedestal: how could such virginal, pure creatures be so GROSS?

There recently was a condescending Australian article recently about the supposedly retrograde attitudes of "young blokes" with regard to gender roles. The author set out to shame these men for having the "backward" notion of wanting to work hard and have a wife that actually wants to tend to housekeeping. O, the horror. And yet these bitches still fully expect to be courted, wined and dined, despite throwing their careers and financial accomplishments and achievements in men's faces. The notion…
/r/MGTOW13/04/17 07:58 AM

I got through about half the piece, the thing that most stands out for me is the absolute condescension with which the article is written. The author seems stunned that these "blokes" "seem to have thought about" these issues deeply. Out of the gate her mission for understanding fails, because she obviously doesn't view these men as fully functional, thoughtful, rational human beings who have developed strong notions about what they want for their lives. She, like most women, is completely ill-e…

From one Black man to another, I want to congratulate you for recognizing this: Yes, I'm black. Yes some people will fear me and place judgments on me. That's the same for everyone. The cats especially should be a deal breaker. They leave fur everywhere, they scratch up everything, and eventually their litter box WILL stink up your place. This is what pissed me off about The Farce Awakens: in the pursuit of creating a Mary Sue the writers created a Teflon character that is virtually unfazed by adversity and thus is less relatable. Luke suffered extreme hardship and loss in his quest to become a Jedi, and even with his powers he still needed the support of his friends. In TFA the writers take great pains to show you she doesn't need ANYbody, and it was obvious what the underlying agenda was, and it was an immediate turn-off. She's…

I had to stop reading at the first paragraph, around the part where they wrote "a better sex life". That alone contradicts what I and the majority of men hear about marriage, FROM MARRIED MEN. The sex is one of the FIRST things to go, the desirability of the woman steadily declines over time, either due to age or just letting herself go. Why do people keep pretending like men are stupid and don't talk to each other about this shit?

I say this all the time: It is WOMEN, specifically Feminists, that are fomenting the misogyny that they so often rail against. They don't understand that most males instinctively WANT to appease females, protect them, care for them, love them, and of course win sexual favor from them. We start out wanting them to like us, to validate us, thus we do what we can to become appealing to them. Thinking back now, the only kids I knew in my teens that weren't falling over themselves for girls, or who w…

Among my notches in this year alone have been several girls from "good families" with "strict fathers". My last LTR was with a very nice girl from a beautiful family who was insatiable in the sack and let me fuck her on the first date. I'm enjoying myself, but at the same time thinking "nope, no daughters for me, lost cause".

They only write "no hook ups!" in order to maintain social standing. Was speaking with a female colleague recently about this. I casually dropped in, as a joke, that women will LIE and put "not into hookups!" on their Tinder profiles; I believe the context of the conversation is that nowadays pussy is in ample supply. Rather than contradict what I was saying about them lying, she heartily agreed and AFFIRMED what I was saying. It's nothing but Anti-Slut Defense, just assume that they are only pu…

Wow. I read that first paragraph and then got to this sentence: Our problem started when I got bored. For those too lazy to read the original thread, this woman spent the entire first paragraph talking about how her tough, confident, dominant and sexy husband--who continued his kickboxing training and remained nice and fit--provided her with a great life for 15 years. Apparently they even maintained a good sex life after all that time. And it STILL wasn't good enough. Never. Getting. Married.

My comment was about an initial resistance to a perceived peeve, founded in reasonable suspicion created through a couple years of watching lesser writers merely trying to increase blog traffic, as opposed to add to the discussion here. If OP is one of those great RP writers like Tomassi or Illimitable and I simply haven't been aware of it until now (which seems to be the case), that's one thing, and I'm happy to be corrected. I'm 34, and always enjoy talking to older men (no homo, lol). If they can see your enthusiasm and the authenticity of your interest, I also find they are pretty willing to talk to younger guys, if they can. I, myself, find pleasure in speaking to and trying to guide guys that are OP's age (I mentor a kid now, just turned 21). Another wrinkle is that as a Black man, I find particular joy in speaking to older Black men. EVERYone should talk to them if they can, because a lot of these guys in parti…

The Wife is a dumb bitch. She claims to have lost some fat around her thighs and waist, which means that whatever she is doing is WORKING, yet she can't understand that because her husband is a MAN and thus is stronger and is built for feats of athleticism that her gender could only DREAM of, of COURSE he's going to see better results from lifting--he's DOING MORE WORK THAN SHE IS. This is a great post, coming from someone who is fast becoming one of my favorite writers on this sub. This has lately become my view on family--it isn't for everybody, but if you want to take that route you have the power to CHOOSE to de-prioritise "work" and "career" and focus on "building a strong family unit". Self-involved, unstable, attention-seeking, manipulative cunt. Stop dwelling on what's going on in her mind, or what her intentions are--stop trying to understand her. You won't. Tangentially-related-- I've been barking up the online dating tree lately, and I would say that one of the big ironies is that many of the Trans-women that show up in my Tinder feed look BETTER than the vast majority of biological women. I stress to people ALL the TIME that form, control, and safety are the most important aspects to learn when you start lifting. Put your pride aside, take those 45s off the fucking bar, and learn how to squat/bench/row etc. CORRECTLY. Progress slowly and steadily (even 2.5 pounds more than you did last week is a progression), and protect yourself. It's really that simple. In seven years of lifting I've not had one injury, and I look and feel great.

Bro, I'm about to be 34, recently ended a 3.5-year LTR, and many months later the OLDEST chick I've banged since then was 25. It's glorious. I've been wreaking havoc on Tinder, and it's amusing to me how many 20-somethings lament that so many men desire them sexually. I chuckle, because in 10 years they'll not only sorely miss the attention lavished on them during their period of peak attractiveness, they'll also resent the new crop of 20-somethings that I, as an established, confident, charming and sexy early-40-something man, will be smashing. It's the old cliche--you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

I disagree that TRP is focused primarily on conquering women. Although sexual strategy is obviously a large part of TRP philosophy, in my view a larger part is focused on self-improvement. I think it's more accurate to say the PUA community can be more readily criticized for pedestalizing women. That said, I've never understood the animosity that exists between PUAs and MGTOW; both philosophies can easily co-exist, and even overlap in some ways. The smell alone put hair on my chest. We actually do have A LOT more time in choosing to settle down with an LTR. If you are close to/past the age of thirty and getting pressure from family and friends. Don't listen to that shit. Resonates with me. 33 years old, never married, most of my college and high school friends have taken the plunge, started families. I've gotten great advice from older men (and, as luck would have it, my late grandmother) about marriage and children (basically "wait wait wait wait WAAAAIT"), as well as obse…

PR stunt aside, this is direct evidence of the misplaced priorities of the German media. They've demonstrated time and time again over the last year that really, they have no problem with their women being raped. Fuck them.

I used to be like Peter. It sounds like he still thinks women are mystical, magical creatures that don't like sex, and that he has low self-worth--he doesn't recognize his own power. Get him a copy of No More Mr. Nice Guy. That's the first step he needs to take, and it's the book that eventually led me here.

I like Roosh's material. He does NOT advocate rape, and anyone who says he does is lying, parroting someone else's bullshit talking points, or they aren't intelligent enough to understand satire. In fact there is a passage, in Bang, I believe, where he writes explicitly that having sex with a woman without her consent is rape, and the context is telling men that that is wrong. I find Roosh's writing to be a bit dry, but it's very straight-forward and easy to understand--there is very little fat …

One of the top comments mentioned that "it has nothing to do with you", which is correct in the sense that the OP is not responsible for the the actions his ex-GF chose to take. But it's wrong in that he IS responsible for letting their LTR get to the point where she saw absolutely nothing wrong with returning this dude's affections, allowing him to escalate, and then fellating them, all while knowing her partner was in the house. He needs to ask himself why he invited a woman like this into his…

This video is hilarious on many levels. Firstly, women aren't the ones going out hunting/shopping for "produce", it is the other way around. Second, I find it interesting that to her there seem to be only two categories of men: the nice, sweet "avocado" boyfriend, and the douchey "banana". There is no grey area--either the man is super kind, or he is an asshole. This is interesting to me because, thirdly, her very choice of objects to illustrate this concept reveal, unwittingly, exactly WHY wome…

I was embittered watching the new SW, as I noted that it took Luke more than two films to master his powers, while Rey figured it out in under an hour of film time. Also--I may write about this--but the new casting breakdown just came out for the next installment, and they are searching for TWO FEMALE leads. As someone who saw both the Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies back to back as a child, I have to admit i DID take this a little personally--they are literally forcing men out of popular …

THIS. I'm a Black man as well, though I often date outside of my race. Whenever confronted with the question of whether or not I'm even attracted to Black women (usually from other butthurt Black people), I say "yes, if they're African or West Indian". The Black American women from the South that I've been attracted to the most were raised in strong, Christian family units, they're the exception to the sorts of ratchet bitches from ATL that the OP touched on. This is exactly correct. I live in New York City as well, and there are no shortage of 40 year old actresses, dancers, and singers here, who have to keep fit for their careers, and also tend to be more Liberal, which has pluses (likely to be more sexually free and open) and minuses (may be brainwashed by feminism...the arts industries are VERY Left-leaning here). For the love of god get rid of him. Your partner is a reflection of you--if he has so many negative qualities then it speaks volumes about YOU that you choose to stay with him. I feel like you know that but for some reason you're not taking action? How exactly is your BF "immature"? I've heard girls and women use this term often, and it is never clear what they mean. Either way it sounds like you feel you have some work to do. Hate to be condescending and pull the age card, but you're only 20; you've got time to sort this kind of thing out (but, as I'm sure you know as a RP woman, you don't have much room to dally). The good news is you're here, you're aware, and you're open to change. It sounds like you don't really respect your BF anyway…

Aside from my knee-jerk reaction that it's laughable to find a mature and fulfilling relationship when you're 20 years old, my bigger question/concerns are these: Why do you feel entitled to a mature, quality man, along with a fulfilling relationship, if you readily acknowledge that you yourself are "mediocre"? Why should any man have to settle for someone that has a low opinion of themselves, be that opinion accurate or not? What's so great about you that even in your immaturity, you deserve a …

Fucking GREAT post. May make a separate post on AskTRP about this, but was chatting with the GF last night about how I'm so critical of myself, how I put so much pressure on myself. She didn't understand, I think most women don't understand, what it means as a man to feel accomplished, to have a mission, and to excel at it. One of my good friends has two older sisters that are married to BP guys, and I saw this dynamic played out; I hadn't discovered this sub yet, but I was aware of TRP, and so these interactions piqued my interest. With the first couple, the older couple who's been married for a few years, I cringed when the husband expressed affection openly to his wife, something along the lines of "well, I have YOU", in a soft voice, while rubbing her back affectionately. She didn't respond to him, at ALL. Didn…

This is not a good comparison at all; Trump could not give a fuck all he wants, but if Kelly had accused him of rape, his presidential campaign would be over, his television career would be over, and his business career would be in jeopardy. Even if there are serious doubts as to the veracity of the claim, his reputation would be stained for the rest of his life. The issue is in your head, and unfortunately she's been a total cunt about it. It sounds like you may have some sort of psychological block as far as vaginal sex. My first hunch is that maybe you're putting too much pressure on yourself to make her happy, when what's most important is that you focus on your OWN pleasure. Also, maybe try a little masturbating on your own, to see what you like and to increase comfort with your sexuality (if that's the issue). the social norm of Betadom is so entrenched nowadays the notion of not being married is just Not Permitted. I have a different point of view. I WILL say that I was very aware while watching that the show was geared toward female viewers, with its focus less on intense action and more on interpersonal relationships and emotion-driven narratives, and when the word "rape" comes up in later episodes it's in such big, bold letters that it's obvious they want to make some sort of statement about it. Some of the male-female dynamics are clearly from a woman's perspective, but I wasn't bothered by it--that's …

I'm in a relationship now but a few years ago I was doing a show out in San Fran and had more sex than I had ever had, with multiple women (this was in 2012, before I'd discovered TRP), and it actually DID feel empty, and I DID grow tired of the rotation, despite enjoying the sex itself. I longed for "something more". Of course, now that I'm in a relationship (and post-TRP), I want some more of the former. It may just be a case of looking for greener grass.

I hold my grandmother, who recently passed, in very high esteem. She was a black woman in Northern California who owned her own house back in the 1960s, dealt with racist bullshit like a champ, could talk trash with the best of them, loved her family fiercely, and slept with a gun under her pillow. Dude this is especially devastating when dealing with Black Americans, any socio-economic or cultural factors aside.
