In the words of someone I heard (you might know who): I have met as many bitchy, vindictive and petty women as I have met bitchy, vindictive and petty men. Time to grow up beyond a Matrix metaphor?

I find this difficult to believe. This is the internet, after all.

I have been a ‘nice guy’. I have been nice and been mistreated in return. I have spoken in my defense and been attacked further. I have desired to give love and received hate in return. Have you? #MeAlso

You are 23 and already own a small business. That is something to elaborate further.

They do, but they also love sex more than us.

Exactly. It is a mere umbrella term that covers widely different cultural contexts. It would be interesting to see a post about Latin America, by a Latin American, for instance. Then again, it can also vary considerably from one Latin American society to another. Hell, it can vary according to socio-economical stratum, whatever the location in the world may be. It would seem there is a necessity to concentrate on the larger categories and the most specific details alike. By this I mean the follo…

Civilization has existed for millennia, whereas the hunter-gathered lifestyle already existed during the millions of years our predecessors (from differen…

If it was normal to reek of such substances, was it as disgusting as it would be with nowadays' hygienic standards?

You write well. You should present more primordial exemplary stories. Edit: By the way, it would be much more ancient than two hundred thousand years. Similar behaviours would be prior to our species. The scenario from your story would have its origins in ancestors of previous species of our same genus.

In days in long bygone times, articulated language came to be. It evolved from social activities and caused social activities to evolve. Then, the wheel kept turning, and a tool for cooperation developed into one for manipulation.

Surely, you are not alone. There is mindfulness, there is detachment. There is a certain sanity to be preserved.

If you don't mind me asking, is the long term goal you mentioned related to being detached, or to other mind-related goal? Or, is it instead a non-mental or non-behavioural goal that would benefit from the detachment?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
