Lol saying that without understanding checks and balances is crazy. You do realize we have three different systems and they have to agree right? You realize that trump was already president AND could barely pass any laws due to us having mainly democrats in senate and that’s why we had government shut downs. I can give you exactly how that won’t work like what I just wrote yet your only explanation of how we could have a dictatorship is “just believe me bro” Bro look up how your own government w…

1

I did. A lot of these things won’t go through with mainly democrats in office. So again I suspect fear monger
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 04:32 AM

That shit sounded like fear mongering
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 09:59 AM

Cause you’re the one who introduced that claim?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 08:01 PM

Ok post some about women saying that they would go out of their way, even if they could be scared, to critique a man’s sexual ability.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:46 PM
1

That worker is there just to get paid. I know many workers that get annoyed by customers asking for things outside of their job. You argument hinges on the idea that most people are elated at their jobs and don’t just wanna go home and get a check like most people. Again that would actually still put some of the workers at risk as some are probably afraid to critique a man and end up in a violent situation so they’d just say what he wants to hear.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:34 PM
1

Which is true but from a lot of women, often telling their partners that the sex is bad and how it can be fixed causes arguments. Customer service is more often about treating the customer like royalty and not critiquing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:25 PM
1

Cause that wasn’t your point lol. We aren’t talking about good business but rather of going to a sex worker develops a man or not
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:22 PM
1

Did you also know that customer service is to get more customers and not to actually be invested in their lives? And my point is it’s just the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:18 PM
1

That’s the point I was making. The sex worker would just tell the man what he wants to hear to get money. A partner has to deal with him for a long time so she’ll be more invested in helping him.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:14 PM
0

They are gonna tell you what you want to hear so they can leave more so than telling you what can help you cause they will be the ones dealing with it for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:10 PM
-2

Paying for sex doesn’t help you gain experience like a partner who is there and wants to be there for free. Having sex with someone willing for free will often tell you what they like and don’t like more honestly
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 05:35 PM

I’m agreeing

The main thing that’s said is that women that age change their preferences for things more sustainable which often is his job, his house, his car, tangible things like that. So it’s not too different anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 07:53 PM

For years they said if you wanted equality for all genders you are a feminist but now when it is time to help it ain’t their issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 07:39 PM

It can definitely be oppressive for men. It’s not uncommon for black men to get bumps that can get infected for shaving yet we are still expected to do so and only allowed to have really short hair.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 07:36 PM
2

Nah. In all honesty I’d be less inclined cause dating bisexual women is normally a fucking nightmare
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:12 PM

You can hear them out but believing they are right without them also giving evidence is insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:06 PM

If everyone is believed when they make a claim things will get way worse actually. You’ll have toxic people using it more and more like how we are with celebrities and Internet personalities. Having a “innocent until proven guilty” mindset can still work and people getting justice. But otherwise you’ll get a community of fear and lying almost as if we haven’t learnt anything from the Salem Witch trials.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:05 PM
1

Even though what I just cited it also said that waiting increases the likelihood cause you get to know them. An average of 50% of marriages end in divorce which shows we already have a flawed system especially when we are getting times from when people died way earlier. Not to mention after the first divorce there is a 60%-70% chance of divorce in the next one so it’s still makes no sense to rush things.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:55 PM
1

I have no idea what you are trying to say in the last part. Look it sucks, but some people will never get married anyway. Tough shit it’s life they’ll get over it. Again ain’t entitled to shit
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:51 PM
1

Not that serious. Women in this subreddit say all the time no one is entitled to a person. It’s not that serious to miss out on that as there is more to life than marriage. That hint is often met with a soft ultimatum behind it. Not to mention marriage is often discussed by both. It’s not the man’s sole decision at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 09:08 AM
1

“Or more years” I have no idea why you are so bent on the idea of choosing the minimal amount of time to choose a LIFE partner. Like I said I think this shows why divorce rates are so high. You all act like you cannot possibly wait to make such a serious decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 09:06 AM
1

Marriage is not a need for anyone but a privilege. Men don’t decide any of that as it is the woman who usually gives hints or starts to talk about marriage. Look at the thread and you’ll see what I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 08:35 AM
1

“https://www.businessinsider.com/how-long-you-should-date-before-you-get-married-2017-10 “When those couples were compared to those who dated for three or more years, likelihood of divorce decreased by about 50%.”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 08:33 AM
1

That’s even worse if they wait 1-2years. So you’ve only lived with them for a year. 3-6 months is often what is said. And yeah people change a lot in their 20s
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:04 AM
1

2-3 is to little. 4-5 is doable
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:16 AM
1

You aren’t gonna find too many liberal men who don’t wanna move in before marriage. And again you are missing on why they don’t divorce. They normally report more unhappy but stay cause of the idea they aren’t supposed to divorce. Otherwise not moving in is a terrible decision
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:18 AM
1

Which also has a lot of those. It’s why Trump was elected back in 2016.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:02 AM
1

It’s socially acceptable in the US. It’s not acceptable in those conservative communities
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:31 PM
3

Absolutely not dude
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:21 PM
1

Yes a choice that comes with extreme consequences. Literally women today have convinced me that you all are the reason why divorce is so high.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:14 PM
1

Doesn’t mean it can’t work. But does mean it’s a terrible decision for most.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:13 PM
1

Cause statistically the earlier people marry the more they divorce. We seen that with the baby boomer era. You are saying years of careful consideration. That’s exactly what I’m saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:13 PM
1

So you can still change it. Quote where I said I treat all decisions like that? And I’ve said countless times it’s to see how a person changes and all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:11 PM
1

Because it’s better than rushing into things??? And for some people they don’t have a choice. Marriage is a want not a need.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:10 PM
1

You shouldn’t be looking for kids unless you can know you can absolutely have one anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:09 PM
1

Absolutely I’m cool with that
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:08 PM
1

It’s not about being scared. Most people divorce within 7 years. It would be smarter to be around each other for a good chunk of that before deciding. Women are having kids later and later and are fine. 2 or 3 years is absolutely rushing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:07 PM
1

If that’s how it works out then yes??? It’s what people tell incels as well idk why you are so surprised and acting like it’s insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:05 PM
1

Roughly the same
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:05 PM
1

In the US you can and in the UK you can as well but they have to want you from what I read. “Almost a third of first-time college students choose a major and then change it at least once within three years…” https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2017/12/08/nearly-third-students-change-major-within-three-years-math-majors-most#:~:text=Almost%20a%20third%20of%20first,federal%20data%20released%20Thursday%20show. I find it odd that you see making the risk of going outside as the same as literal marria…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:04 PM
1

So what I gathered is that you believe that people should get married just cause they like each other. There are many things that also factor. People change all the time. Imagine someone finding out that they don’t want kids in 4 years but you married them in 2. Also most people live to their early 80s. They definitely can find someone and shouldn’t rush it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:01 PM
1

Yes you said 3. Still too short. I literally did answer your question. About 3 times now. You did say 3 was minimum but said 4 was maximum. And I still disagree. Shit I have work contacts longer than that. Sure it’s normal to have one of those. But again I’m still not seeing any upside to making such a big decision in such a short time compared to a lifetime.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:56 PM
1

Seeing how the person pans out??
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:52 PM
1

Yes. But again that doesn’t mean you should take on a whole other person and treat it like it’s a normal decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:51 PM
1

Most people also change their major many times in that timeframe. Doesn’t paint making a life long decision that well in that time frame. Yes you should go over each and every single thing. That’s how you mitigate risk and issues. It’s the same reason on why women wait for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:50 PM
1

That’s not a reason. That’s your opinion. What would they actually benefit from making a decision that quickly on such a serious topic?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:48 PM
1

“A majority of the overall public (65%) says the increased focus on sexual harassment and assault in the last few years has made it harder for men to know how to interact with someone they’re on a date with” That would affect the men who are trying to get a gf. And I have definitely seen a lot of couples and met women who wanted to wait 3 months - 6 months.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:48 PM
1

No cause they more often stay in unhappy relationships due to beliefs. Hell relationships that are egalitarian are supposedly more happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:44 PM
1

You never gave me reasons on why you should make that decision that early and that quickly
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:43 PM
1

The main reasons why people are having less sex are cause they still live with parents, mental health, and work. You also have the ideas of me too which apparently men said it makes things harder. It seems like we are way more cautious
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:43 PM
1

I never said wait a decade. Honestly what would be the reasons and upside to making that decision that quickly?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:38 PM
1

So making a decision on the fact that you will have to live with this person, have kids with them, maybe take care of them if they get cancer, deal with their family etc should be rushed to 2 years? Are we surprised marriage rates are falling and divorce rates are the way they are?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:32 PM
1

That doesn’t mean they aren’t waiting. Sex has been going down by each generation so we know for a fact that women are waiting and having less sex than before.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:29 PM
1

I’m chilling I just said don’t do it. Sure it may not need to be exactly 5 years. But thinking you know someone in 2 years is insane. If you faced all that in 3 years lol I promise someone ain’t stable. That’s a lot for 3 years. One major thing is the fact that you are able to see how someone is changing that’s for sure. 2-3 years is barely anytime to see that. No one stays the same. I would like to hear what is the positive to rushing a life long decision into three years.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:29 PM
1

I meant months. I changed it. The couples who move in sooner are also rushing like hell.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:26 PM
1

No Remember most women believe a 25 year old cannot be with a 20 year old. That’s why I think it’s insane to plan on marriage by 2 years. The sex bit is to put in perspective the time. If a woman waits 3-6 months for sex they could have only been having sex for maybe a year and a half. Barely anytime at all depending.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:25 PM
2

Sure a discussion on what you want in the future is fine but planning on getting married around that time is insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:23 PM
1

Compared to the fact that most people will live for a long ass time after that? I’ve added why being around them for a half of a decade makes more sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:22 PM
1

Ah no my bad. 3-6 months.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:20 PM
1

That stat doesn’t show if those who don’t move in together are from conservative backgrounds which they more than likely are.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:20 PM
2

Insanely too fast
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:18 PM
2

Firstly don’t do that. The aht aht thing. But all of those are reasons on why you should wait yes. Not to mention people can change very quickly especially in their 20s. I’ve explained that. I never said to not get married. I see you added more into your initial comment which you should’ve added but nonetheless 5 years is half of a decade. A lot changes in that time frame. A lot that may not be shown from 3 years. You can not want to do that and I’ll still say I believe that’s why women divorce …
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:18 PM
2

Most people don’t even marry young anymore. They have higher rate of divorce
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:12 PM
1

In that case I think that makes it worse but I’m not conservative
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:11 PM
1

I can agree with it. But I’d still wait for a bit
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:11 PM
1

There are is a stark difference between seeing each other and living with each other. Everyday habits will absolutely change and this is probably why we see women complaining about them not having the same cleaning standards and divorce. And taking time to marry and seeing it as them not being into seems extremely insecure.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:10 PM
3

This thread honestly has me believing women are the reason for the high divorce rates. It seems like you all rush into marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:07 PM
1

Women here say all the time that people change all the time in their 20s. So why on earth would someone marry a person only on 2-3 years? Most people move in with their partner around 2-3 years. So you’d have only lived with that person for a year and a half. Doesn’t sound like you’ve been around them that long if you plan on a life with them to make that decision. You also have women who want to wait for sex, makes sense. Most women have the rule of 3-6 months. So again if you marry within 3 ye…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:03 PM
1

Cause for one your dad is from a different era which that already shows why it’s bad. Another one is that it’s not my advice, it’s literally the findings of professionals.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:01 PM
1

You could have to start over at the age of 29 but have married someone. Now you gotta deal with the fact that you are divorced, dealing with legal documents, and still trying to date which dudes would probably see that as a red flag. Women here say all the time that you change all the time in your twenties, so it would make since to marry after some time. Also women are having children later and later every year and things are fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:00 PM
1

Most people move in around 6 months or later. So reasonably you’d only live with them for a year and a half. That still doesn’t seem good. And if it’s supposed to be life long then 5 years isn’t anything compared to a lifetime.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:55 PM
1

Lol are you? Personal data is never a good indicator for anything
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:51 PM
2

I think im starting to see why women file for divorces more. It seems like yall are way to willing to make a life long decision in such a short time.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:50 PM
1

I’m not married. But the stats show that marrying later is best. You don’t need anecdotal evidence to see what is best when you can compare a large group of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:50 PM
1

Talking about marriage goals is fine, but getting married in 2-3 years is way to quick for anyone honestly
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:48 PM
2

So the answer is to rush into a life long commitment?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:47 PM
1

Just because other women see it as long doesn’t make it good lol. Divorce rates are high as hell. I’d say you should make your own judgement. Your dad is from another era.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:46 PM
2

So spending your life with someone only takes 3 years to figure out? I feel like this is why women initiate most of the divorces
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:44 PM
2

You can bring up the idea but 2 years is way too damn early
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:41 PM
1

Most people are marrying later and having kids later. You can still get married in 5 years and have kids
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:39 PM
2

Eh it’s closer to the minimum I’d think but 4 years is still pretty early
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:38 PM
4

2 years is nothing if you are planning on spending the rest of your life together
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:35 PM
2

Q4W: How long would you have to be dating a person for you to think about marriage? At minimum I believe it should be 5 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 09:32 PM
1

??? You never asked for a link lol??? No dude. We are literally talking about women saying shit about a man being abused on live tv. Point where I said women are coddled? Dude you gotta get your arguments together.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 03:15 AM
1

Post the link then. Nope give an actual quote. You literally said they tried to make another one and was banned again. All of which was again them getting justice as much as Reddit could do. And again the folks who say shit like that to men are not. Also “Do not share or encourage the sharing of sexual, abusive, or suggestive content involving minors. Any predatory or inappropriate behavior involving a minor is also strictly prohibited.” https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy Easy goo…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 03:09 AM
1

They definitely got banned. It’s against TOS. I’ve already explained the Dr. Phil thing and why it’s not the same. Oh shit?? I didn’t realize I was dismissing a sub beating woman. Please enlighten me where I did so I’d love to see it. Me saying that they got actions taken against them is now bending over backwards for them huh? Nevermind the fact that this whole time you have went on to maybe say one sentence on the women that the OP is talking about. Bro you are one funny motherfucker I swear.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 03:01 AM
1

You literally said they got banned. The community wouldn’t be Dr. Phil but rather the people who mock men being abused. Lol those Redditors literally get banned for that kind of thing which I explained is the most they can literally do.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 02:17 AM
2

… you do understand the difference between disapproval and straight up preventing a community even after I broke it down right? Uh, that was the whole point, they didn’t get punished for what they did???
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 09:30 PM
2

A) Yes it’s a repercussion, if that group of people aren’t allowed to talk and spread ideas and they removed the place that they gather that is absolutely a bad consequence. What else are they supposed to do put all of them in jail when they can’t? That’s the difference from wagging a finger dude. B) He is off the air for not this event though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 07:22 PM
3

So… their content got banned but these women faced no repercussions for it hat they did?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 03:38 PM
0

We absolutely do. It’s why some dudes will tell their friends not to date a certain girl cause she’s been ran through or a gold digger. Men absolutely do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 07:09 PM
1

I thought I always sounded young
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:23 PM
1

Why do you say a bit?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 05:09 PM
1

I’ve seen so many people still say it’s weird especially since I’m under 25
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:50 PM
1

Then I’m surprised by your take then
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:48 PM
1

Are you normally against age gaps?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:44 PM
1

I respect that
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:41 PM
2

I’ve been 21 for a bit
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:38 PM
1

It doesn’t seem like that large of a gap IMO
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:34 PM
1

Q4W: I’m dating a woman that is 26 now while I’m 21. I wonder do women here see that as weird
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:32 PM
5

No doubt. But for some it’s way harder than others for things like what I mentioned
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 08:22 PM
3

That doesn’t mean that dating as a short guy is easy. Hell being unfit and tall is better than being short honestly
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 06:37 PM
1

It seems like that’s often
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 01:16 PM
1

Eh the older people thing. I think you might only see a fraction of their relationship. But your definition on settling. Wouldn’t that mean most women settle?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 01:02 PM
1

Some people settle but still like being around them a bit
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 12:50 PM
1

That link says they are also against power, fame, and conformity which I’m not against. They also seem to believe people can’t do nice things which I do believe they can.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:34 AM
1

I don’t even think that’s cynical. People can do nice things and not expect something out of it but they get a feeling of helping someone. That is still getting something. “cynical, misanthropic, pessimistic mean deeply distrustful. cynical implies having a sneering disbelief in sincerity or integrity. “ I’m not distrustful and I think people even when they get something out of it like a good feeling can be sincere in helping that person
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:27 AM
1

I’ve never said that people don’t do good often though. I just say often times people do good cause they get something out of it
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:22 AM
1

I don’t think that’s cynical as it’s not sadness or hatred or even being burnt out. I just don’t care. I could take it or leave it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:16 AM
1

I feel like you can believe that and still believe people do good
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:15 AM
1

Ah I guess I can see worn out. Not cynical though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:12 AM
1

Well hopefully that feeling comes back since it’s not normal to feel this way. Thanks for the answers
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:11 AM
1

Won’t there always be better though? Thanks for the reply.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:08 AM
1

Well I never said it hurt me to love a girl like that. Just said that I don’t feel that way at all for anyone. Not a conscious thing but I know what you mean.

Oh huh. I always thought jaded meant hating women or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:01 AM
1

Women honestly haven’t been that hard for me to date. And like I’ve told someone else I’ve only felt that way for one person but she traumatized the shit out of me especially for my first relationship so I’ve never really felt that way ever since
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 05:00 AM
1

I don’t hate them. Just kinda don’t care I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:56 AM
1

I don’t feel that for anyone so I think some people are different in that regard
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:56 AM
1

Yeah that’s normal
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:55 AM
1

I get that
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:55 AM
1

In the post he said that’s exactly what she said to him when he asked about her comment
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:53 AM
1

Not really jaded. If anything I still struggle with blaming myself and missing her lol it’s a whole weird thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:53 AM
1

I guess I’d say it’s the opposite since a lot of women say marriage with men is awful that they settle more. But I could be wrong. It’s better in the sense that If they hurt me I can easily move on to the next or I enforce my boundaries better but it’s not a good thing I’d say. And the only time I got excited was my first girlfriend which went on to cheat on me and have most of my friend group turn on me whenever I’d say I was uncomfortable with her talking so much with her ex as she would go an…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:51 AM
1

Lol the song. Idk I’m not sure where the lines of acceptable means of settling vs non acceptable means of settling are. Like one woman said it’s settling if she’s never excited to see the person she’s with. To me that’s normal as I’ve only felt that way once. After that it’s more of a meh thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:46 AM
1

Thanks for the reply. I’ve only been excited to see one person that I’ve dated even though they were attractive. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:43 AM
1

Thanks for the reply. I guess I’m not sure on what would be acceptable for settling and what wouldn’t. There was a thread not too long ago about a man being upset that his wife said she married and went on a first date with him cause she was afraid of being alone but grew to love him but not in the way he loves her. Would you leave in that situation? Most said it wasn’t an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:42 AM
1

I feel like social media does that in a way. I’ve dated girls I thought looked amazing but often especially when they got too emotionally invested I found them as less attractive but that’s probably due to media.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:40 AM
1

Thanks for the reply. Idk I guess I’m confused as to what is acceptable or not in settling. I see anything close to it and I think “I must find someone better” but I know that’s wrong so I’m trying to find out what is a good settling. Like the Reddit story that was here about a woman saying she got with her man out of fear of being alone but grew to love him but not in the way he loves her. Would you leave in that last scenario? Most thought it wasn’t bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:39 AM
1

Thanks for the reply. My question to that is aren’t there always gonna be times when you ask that to yourself even if you don’t mean it? Or am I tripping?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:36 AM
2

Lol never thought of that but sure thanks for sharing

Q4W: What does settling for a relationship mean/ look like to you? No debate just curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 04:27 AM
1

When it comes to bullying?? lol that’s not a uniquely man or woman thing. It bothers me as it does take tax dollars and there could be other issues we talk about but instead it’s always women in society as of right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/24 03:04 PM
3

I’d say that idea is not real vulnerability then. It’s understandable to be scared and say “this person can hurt me” but that’s where trust comes in.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 12:09 AM
11

These men aren’t crazy. If many men are saying this then maybe there is a legitimate issue with it
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 12:05 AM
4

You see the issue though? Since when is bullying a feminist issue? Does it have to be separate by gender? Even if there are resources for moms doesn’t mean that they still won’t be tired dude. Having kids still is a task. They aren’t starving. But jobs pay by how much it’s needed in society. Most people can clean up after themselves. You are right but they can get a tech for pharmacy or nursing.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 11:38 PM
1

Yeah I linked another country to show trends my guy. Ok so it said the US. Now how did they get the information you never answered that. Lol I love being called an incel for disagreeing. Are you a fucking child who can’t handle a disagreement??

I never said I believe in chads spinning plates?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 11:32 PM
4

Time has been at an all time low. Rape has always been taught to men that it’s bad. Men are often bullied for the same things plus height. And even from women no less. That’s less of a feminist issue and more of a bullying issue There always was help for mothers. Women still gossip. They just gossip about men more now. These things were already available by charities and still continue to do so. Nurses get paid 89,000 if they are registered. Lol that’s more than enough. Maids all they do is clea…

I have no idea what you are talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:08 PM
1

Again yes but it’s the entitlement with said statement. It’s like when women get upset when dudes tell them to make them food. Normally you should also want food for your partner but the entitlement of that comment is annoying
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:57 PM
1

I see. I was expanding on your 30% stat and why OP is seeing things the way he is and how prevalent OLD is. I never brought that stat out.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 04:14 AM
1

That wasn’t one of my points though. And considering that most people get in a relationship and see better success IRL. We can see that there are some issues with OLD. I can agree but again those weren’t my points that I was addressing.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 04:06 AM
1

It’s cool it happens. And that was my point. Most younger people use online dating and that’s where OP is getting his idea. You said only 30% of adults use OLD. I said that’s true but 53% of younger adults do. You brought up that the number of people who struggle on OLD is negligible and I said that’s not true as it seems to be divided with younger adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:54 AM
1

I’m not OP…. I never brought that up.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:50 AM
1

They don’t struggle as much in dating. But things are easier as a woman as there is no fear that men have with women making a move.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:46 AM
1

I never brought that up actually. You did. I only provided the stats that most younger people my age have used online dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:42 AM
1

You didn’t quote it. You left out the part that shows that it’s evenly divided amongst younger people
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:38 AM
1

“Adults under 30 are less convinced than their older counterparts that online dating has made the search for a partner easier. These younger adults are about evenly divided in their views, with 35% of those ages 18 to 29 saying it has made the search easier and 33% saying it has made the search harder.” You forgot the article also said this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:35 AM
5

Sure I’d agree. But things like me too ( not a bad thing) has reasonably put women on edge. It would take two to tango with that not just one.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:19 AM
1

Sure and I agree with you on that part that changes. But I don’t agree that these women could be attracted to them
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:15 AM
1

He said alone and undesired. I disagree with the alone part but the undesired part I’m more inclined to agree with.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:12 AM
5

And again we are going through an age of loneliness for both men and women. That’s harder than ever before. Which again is why dudes go to dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:08 AM
1

Quote what you are talking about. Which number of what dwindles down. Cause again if it’s the age in which people use online dating… then again I explained that lol? Most old people are married. Why would they use it? Now compare the ones who tried it to the percentage single. 53% of a generation isn’t enough people?? And you are expecting to see results in 15 minutes. That’s not how long the average person stays on dating apps and I never made that point either so good I guess??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:07 AM
6

Neither would approaching??? Nothing has a 100% guarantee.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:04 AM
2

Correct. But I said 53% under 30 have though which is most of the demographic on this subreddit. Which makes sense as online dating is relatively new. So for people like OPs age he isn’t exactly wrong that most have used Online dating
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 02:45 AM
1

Yes. OP is not 100% correct but definitely has some validity but not by much. The woman above your comment also has data similar to mine, “The majority (90.5%) of those aged 16 to 29 years were single (never married or in a civil partnership) in 2019. This proportion has been increasing over time as people choose to postpone entering a legal partnership.” https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/populationestimates/bulletins/populationestimatesbymaritalstatusand…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 02:20 AM
-2

Cause casual dating is arguably still single. That’s not being committed. Same with FWB and they define what a relationship is. Your data also only talks about cohabitation, marriage, or single and is also older. Pew shows that that doesn’t change until around 30 or 27.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:59 AM
0

“When looking at age and gender together, 63% of men under 30 describe themselves as single, compared with 34% of women in the same age group. “ https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/02/08/for-valentines-day-5-facts-about-single-americans/ This is a newer stat
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:31 AM
-2

“Online dating is more common among younger adults than among older people. About half of those under 30 (53%) report having ever used a dating site or app, compared with 37% of those ages 30 to 49, 20% of those 50 to 64 and 13% of those 65 and older.” 53% of adults under thirty have used dating apps https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/02/02/key-findings-about-online-dating-in-the-u-s/
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:27 AM
10

It’s not that complicated. There are many reasons as to why dudes wouldn’t want to approach dating IRL. Worse rejection Women’s attitudes now towards men approaching not wanting to ruin a social circle Not wanting to date where you work Etc
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:22 AM
1

Do you think that we could be evaluating this wrong? Just because there are relationships out there like that doesn’t mean they are happy or that they are not cheating or distant etc
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:14 AM
0

That’s my issue. Like the amount of times I’ve seen men being victim blamed everywhere
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:06 AM
1

And I get it being seen that way back then. But now it seems like a complete over correction
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 01:06 AM

I’m a bitter incel cause I disagree yet you came to an old argument to say this? Lol Not to mention I have a girlfriend but sure man. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 12:48 AM
2

He’s not arguing that people want someone that’s funny. He’s arguing the expectation and entitlement that statements like “make me laugh” are on dating apps
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 12:38 AM
2

I don’t get where the narrative that Reddit is the most misogynistic place where it caters to men. Most places even here seem to defend women with their lives. I’ve seen people have the same stories but it seems like people deem if they are an asshole or not by their gender which seems to be mainly men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 12:31 AM

I guess you’re still mad from fighting another redditor about fallacies and losing huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 12:27 AM

If most feel like they only got with their partner out of fear of being alone and not loving them the same as their partner then that’s why divorce is high
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/24 02:06 PM
1

“ she ended up confessing that she married me because she was afraid of being alone like her mother, so that's why she immediately accepted my proposal to go out. “ She also said that she married him for the same reason. Not to mention saying she doesn’t love him and the way he loves her but loves him enough to stay.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/24 01:19 PM
2

Ah. Still I appreciate the civility. Idk I think giving space when space is needed is important. Some people require withdrawing physical affection for a bit like some victims of assault others not. But to an extent it’s needed
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 11:37 PM
2

Also thank you for not being condescending and rude cause of an opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 11:25 PM

All? No. Some yes. But that also doesn’t mean all of them or most of them are the ones doing that.

A few women argued otherwise. You’d be surprised
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 11:01 PM

Because I don’t believe that’s true. Even if look at the amount of women on medication
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 10:58 PM

It’s often said women don’t fuck their friends. They will with friends of friends. But friends? No. I didn’t say most women do use it for sex. I said some
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 10:53 PM

For whatever time is needed for that specific person. It could or could not include that. It depends on the person
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 10:52 PM

I find it funny that you say swindling even though I explain that men should do those things but I think it’s also ok for men to take a break.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 10:49 PM

The talk was about issues in general and that was the point that things can seem absurd if I apply her logic
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 10:36 PM
5

Go to ask men subreddit and ask. Hell ask the men here. This is a common complaint. It’s why dudes say women want to get rid of their gender roles but not theirs.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:54 PM
3

Yeah this is always an argument. Even with women that are into you you are expected to go most of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:51 PM
2

Nope. Doing most of the initiating, paying for all the dates, planning all of the dates, listening to problems constantly, random gifts, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:49 PM
2

The standard way most men go about getting in relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:41 PM
2

Sure you take interest, but that can also make you want a break cause it can be a task. I agree you shouldn’t take in all their hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:40 PM
1

Sure that happens as well. But other women may not have guys like that around and use tinder. Yes plates don’t meet your family but due to certain situations other people may not want their family around. That’s the case with me
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:39 PM
3

I try not to now and try to understand that women go through shit. I normally don’t argue with points that make sense from a woman’s perspective cause I do feel those thoughts are often mainstream
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:35 PM
1

Well I don’t hold those beliefs now. This was before I came to this subreddit so I wasn’t debating. I’ve had my perspective changed a bit here and in other situations
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:34 PM

For me my mom grew up hating me, getting mad for just me ordering food when our dad took us out, belittling me for even when I did do things right like clean the kitchen. When she got sick she would yell at me for trying to help her. My first girlfriend would text her ex behind my back and when I get upset would call me controlling for saying I was uncomfortable with it ( and that she could still be friends but I do think it’ll put a strain on the relationship) We eventually broke up and she had…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:29 PM

When I was a red piller the thing that would get me called misogynistic is saying things like women love you for what you can give mainly, women are irrational, you should have a never ending roster of women, things like that if that helps
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:25 PM
1

I don’t think they know they are a plate by red pill doctrine I guess. But the other stuff you said doesn’t mean something is wrong with them they could just like sex
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:23 PM

That could definitely be a situation. But that would be on her to communicate what she needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 08:54 PM

Ok what gave you the idea that I thought they were vague cause they were a woman or vague at all? Quote where you got that idea from. I know no one needs to humor me, I never begged for any of them to answer. However it’s a public forum so yes I can insert myself. What did I nitpick? Was it part of my comment or not? You said my point didn’t matter here but I asked a question to which she only decide to answer part of and then be disingenuous from there on. So you say I inserted myself when not …

Lol damn do you always suck your own dick. I can disagree with personal experience because it’s a debate? People debate to change ideas or defend them. Not to mention quote where I argued her personal experiences. It’s the internet, dude I haven’t known them longer than you’ve known me ( and apparently know all about me) My core argument is that yes men have an issue with understanding these things. But women due to their gender roles often have a hard time being blunt with said frustrations. Ne…

I’ve literally been trying
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:27 PM
2

No one said hermit for 2 weeks. But I did say taking a break from romancing for a bit. And not everyone wants to have everything that separate. I’m sure even your wife wants you to try things that she likes but that you may not care for.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:27 PM
1

Yeah I’m Looking for an argument. It’s a debate sub??? Apparently you are too as I’m trying to leave this as you don’t have what I asked for.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:24 PM
1

That wasn’t the part of what I was asking lol. Dude just stop. You know that’s not what I was asking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:21 PM
2

Some people like time to themselves. Then if you don’t 100% like what they like sure you’ll do it with them but that does cause a bit of strain on you if you’re tired or stressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:21 PM
2

It’s not cherry picking to ask for a source. One which you don’t have lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:17 PM
7

So you 100% like everything she likes, never need some time to yourself, and always willing no matter if you are sad, hurt, depressed, and angry?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:15 PM
2

It didn’t fail. You saying men cheat more did when you can’t cite your source.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:13 PM
6

You do realize relationships are work right? I could make that same argument about a woman that wants space from sex, “you like sex right, if you don’t want it then we should break up” Caring for someone is never 100% fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:10 PM

Literally after she sobered up said she doesn’t love him the way her loves her but she loves him enough to stay with him
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:06 PM

Yet she replied to my comment that she as also talking about things generally
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:05 PM

Debates have agendas. Look imma just say you don’t have it. We are done
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 07:01 PM

To highlight exactly that. To show things are more complex than that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:58 PM
2

Well like I said I actually don’t know the answer to the question I’m asking dude. You gave the claim and said you had the study so I asked you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:57 PM
1

She literally told him her thoughts and feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:56 PM
3

It was literally your claim that I’m asking you to support. I’m not trolling and I’ve said I actually have a point with that. I know that stats say men cheat more. But it’s a legit question on what they deem as cheating
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:53 PM
3

If it was a claim that you made in your original comment then yes I can ask for you to back it up. But I can see you don’t have it so I think that’s as far as we go
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:48 PM

If I didn’t ask for it clearly I wasn’t asking for her to do so?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:48 PM
2

Well yes arguments generally have points. Source?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:47 PM
1

Nope. I had a point on where I was going with this. And again source?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:44 PM
1

Statistically women want sex more as they get into their 30s and men want it less.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:41 PM
-7

So you don’t have your own source, gotcha. It was your claim but sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:41 PM
1

A seat, dumbass it was my comment. You chose to do whatever and no that doesn’t address my points as one was general ( like this whole OP that you are agreeing with btw just don’t like when it doesn’t suit you) and one that was for you. Yes it is cherry picking.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:40 PM
2

I respect that but for some women it comes of almost like nothing at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:39 PM
3

That definitely depends. Often times things may seem like upkeep. But that’s how you get “bare minimum” allegations lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:38 PM
-11

I’m asking does it include things like emotional cheating. Link the study
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:37 PM
3

I mean a break from constantly trying to romance their partner like they did in the past. Women ARE asking for that. It’s why the discussion of house labor exists
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:37 PM
-1

Quote where I asked her to do that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:36 PM
1

That’s not what you said. You said that if men have issues they should make their own post not a post that’s the inverse of OP nice try.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:35 PM
2

Often times the logic is that some women come from abusive backgrounds, can be afraid of men going crazy etc. Not to mention gender roles and how some women have been raised to care less about what they want. It’s not an issue that arrives from just sex

And try doing most of the planning for dates, paying for most of them, doing nice gestures that often times may not be paid back. It’s the same thing women complain about when it comes to relationship fatigue lol you just don’t like it when men say they face the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:33 PM

It’s not a weird one. This is common. It’s why ideas like enthusiastic consent and all that exist because some women have issues with confrontation.

And I had two points. Cherry picking like hell.

I’m talking about the study of who cheats more
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:28 PM
1

That will be your experience, you aren’t a man
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:28 PM
0

I can use an example and extrapolate it to a bigger issue. Not to mention I talked about both, you and everyone else in my original comment
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:27 PM
14

I like your last part. You make it seem like he has to be obsessed with sex to want it. So again a woman can want breaks from sex but a man can’t want breaks from doing everything from how he got her which is often a lot more than what women do? Shocked.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:25 PM

I mean your rubbing your head and all that but that’s how this whole subreddit feels with your mind numbing dumb ass takes. When I said that sure you may have faced those issues but does every woman? No they don’t. Didn’t think that was a hard fucking concept but here we are
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:24 PM
0

Yet you brought up points that seemed specific to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:20 PM
4

I mean not every situation is that exact situation now is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:19 PM
-7

Does that study also talk about emotional cheating?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:18 PM
5

I love how you assumed shit about me that isn’t true. Almost like some people may feel a certain way but it might not be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:17 PM
6

So with you saying that, are you saying men cannot take breaks from that? Does that also go with the fact that women often let themselves go after pregnancy and if she doesn’t shape up in a while that he should leave or if she doesn’t have sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:16 PM
-1

That’s common sense. People may feel a certain way. But doesn’t mean that whatever they are upset about is happening
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:15 PM
3

Actually it was on topic. You said men should make a post or talk about their issues on another thread. They did. You didn’t like it and did the same complaining. I didn’t miss anything. I’m commenting to what you said lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:13 PM
11

I’ve talked about this in another thread. Men do a lot to get into relationships. Some of which is exhausting after a bit. Some men want a break from that which seems like isn’t something they can do
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:12 PM
4

Women often think they are being direct but are being subtle due to old gender roles. If he ignored you some part of me doubts he actually got what you meant
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:11 PM

Funny you say that when in your history you go to the men’s rights subreddit to bitch at them too lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:10 PM
2

Depends. We often see partners on bad days get annoyed for small things. I’ve had a girlfriend that was upset that I didn’t want to try what she got for Olive Garden cause of a bad day. Does that mean I have to do that every time now. Not to mention I mentioned that due to women’s upbringing women often aren’t the best at communicating when something is bothering them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 05:24 PM
0

That’s what I mean. They don’t communicate often on how serious it is mostly because of how some women are raised which still doesn’t make it ok
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 05:17 PM
1

Nope
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 05:12 PM

The post literally said she married him to avoid being alone. It’s in the title. And some people can be a bit oblivious or good at hiding things. Not everyone can tell when something is off. Not to mention he never said if he felt something was off or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 05:10 PM
23

I’d agree with all except for the part where you say they communicated it. In what way? Women are also known to think they got their point across in a subtle way but it wasn’t obvious to the man nor did he pick up on how serious it was. You can say he should pay more attention, maybe I’d agree, but at the end of the day we do have to acknowledge a lot of people have communication issues especially women since y’all say they are socialized to put others first. They may think they are being blunt …

It’s literally left to the state where people vote to choose who is the governor. Arguably yes. I don’t consider it equal rights. If a woman slips up and end up pregnant she can just abort it. But what do they tell dudes tho? Tough shit you gotta pay for that no matter if you wanted it or not. My point is all of it is ok or none of it’s ok. I’m not even against abortion. I just don’t give a shit but having a dude pay for something he never wanted then to turn around and say it’s the woman’s righ…

I find it weird women here are defending this situation with their life. Would you want a guy who said the exact same thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:51 PM

It’s also not hard to put it in and edit it then but there we are

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:45 PM

Most often that’s how cheating starts
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:34 PM

Those arent equivalent. The equivalent is men being able to not pay for a child they didn’t want cause you’re right it’s not their body. But they should have the same right to not want a kid if accident happened

I agree but, “ she ended up confessing that she married me because she was afraid of being alone like her mother, so that's why she immediately accepted my proposal to go out. “ She also said married as part of not wanting to be alone. Would you be ok with a man who is with you just because they don’t want to be alone?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:27 PM

Women are the main voters in this country. They make up 66% of voters. Not to mention abortion isn’t even illegal in those states they just say you can’t do it after a certain point and they turned it over to the states.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:11 PM
1

I agree with that. It’s why I never have a problem with women calling out incel women hating shit
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 04:01 PM

Did you not read the last part?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:58 PM

Idk whatever you just said
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:57 PM

Don’t start. The issue I have with this is that one is more socially acceptable and even in classrooms in college. Shit gets annoying and creates groupthink of hating on dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:56 PM
1

Both are just as bad imo
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:54 PM

So then misandry should be handled the same way if you think dudes shouldn’t put up with it
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:53 PM
4

Both have to be understanding but only one is able to get off the hook lol. If they don’t have the money then why are they fucking instead of fixing that. As you said condoms aren’t 100% so why not plan for that situation if it comes to it. If the man didn’t want the child but she did she’s free to have or abort the child, but he should also have the ability to not support something he never wanted.

So cause some women ( a small amount mind you) deal with a crazy dude and lose their life im supposed to be ok with being talked down to or insulted?? Nah you lost me on that. I could say women abuse their partners first more and that most men don’t fight back as women initiate IPV more. Yet no one cares if said man comes out saying he hates women. They’re just gonna tell him to shut up.

It’s in my thread to which you are replying. Again men rape for different reasons. I never rape is more than just a woman issue. Especially when 40% of male rape is never reported or taken seriously when a woman does it. Well considering that men have been being educated for that for years now, no it won’t make rape go away. And I never said that teaching is the only reason as to why rape is down. Most people spend their time behind a screen now away from people. That means more rape is gonna go…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 03:03 PM

Dude… that was YOUR POINT. In your example you said that rape is different from other crimes and asked me if it’s biological. To which I said some people are just born without empathy. Some will grow up to be good people and some not. You wanted me to give you a whole paper about who certain backgrounds can cause this. No shit. That doesn’t even need to be said. I’m replying to YOUR comment. Jesus Christ man. READ.

So she still has that right then if she can just move and have it done?? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:20 PM

Ok so if it takes two then he should get input or the ability to not pay if she wants to care for it. It makes sense as she can drop accountability by abortion. Lol at taking accountability from men by saying we should make them pay but women can do what they want then.

Ok for one men get DV more and women often start it more. “Almost 24% of all relationships had some violence, and half (49.7%) of those were reciprocally violent. This is by far the craziest comment I’ve ever read. You do realize some people are just born with empathy? Some of them can be well adjusted adults and others do crime like rape. So in your world view anyone like that should automatically be killed even though some of them will be just fine or haven’t even done anything?? Got damn I hope you don’t run for office.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:12 PM

And where exactly did I say that? Rape is more than just a feminist issue. Feminism was about this, “In general, feminism can be seen as a movement to put an end to sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression and to achieve full gender equality in law and in practice.” It’s not a gendered issue if it happens to everyone. “ The ACE study confirms that 16% of males and 25% of females (1 in 6 males; 1 in 4 females) report “contact childhood sexual abuse” before the age of 18. Men report female perp…

Then I find that funny the main response men are told when they get a girl pregnant on accident was “should’ve used protection” and now has to pay for a child he didn’t want.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:05 PM

“In general, feminism can be seen as a movement to put an end to sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression and to achieve full gender equality in law and in practice.” Full stop, we see that isn’t the issue any more. This definition is outdated as hell and only seeks to help women. So this needs to be updated for one. Women aren’t safe? Crime is at an all time low and men still make the majority of victims. I’d argue men are seen the same way in Asian cultures. If a man is struggling financial…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:04 PM

I already answered that with my statement. Now do you think crime can ever stop?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:58 PM
7

…did you forget the first part of my comment? Not to mention why don’t they do what they tell dudes to do? Use protection and be accountable for not getting pregnant if you don’t want a kid. Before you use the rape example, not only does that make a small percentage of all crime but it’s still not illegal to have an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:57 PM

Who is justifying anything? Answer the question
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:54 PM

Hang on so do you think crime can and will cease to exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:52 PM
6

So something unattainable?? Got it Does that extend to male rape to or is it just women?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:51 PM
5

In those states it just says they can’t get an abortion within a certain timeframe. They didn’t lose the right. They turned the right over to the states. They can easily move to another state.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:42 PM
7

And most aren’t??
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:47 PM
1

No it’s not. Look at how many men even get the ability to be a SAHD. Most women do it for reasons like wanting to heal after a while. While I can give some sympathy to men not doing a lot, having to work 40-50 hours just to come home and do even more work when there is a SAHP is insane not to mention the fact that normally in society they preach it’s the man’s job to constantly romance their partner. Also that wasn’t the argument we had anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:50 AM
1

No they don’t. The don’t because women often earn the same in relationships and when single they earn more in major cities. Men only start to make more when children are involved and when some women decide to stay home with the kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:42 AM
3

Yes it does. Single childless women out earn single childless men. Women don’t go to jobs like welding as it’s often back breaking work and they are often weaker. And why are you putting bias in quotes?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:23 AM
1

Women are also encouraged the most in school than men are and have shown to get bias in grades by their teachers. That’s absolutely part of socialization
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 02:04 AM
3

Most women are going to college than men. If things were as you say they are then this would be the opposite
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:56 AM

In education it’s definitely not pushed anymore and even with families I see men and women advocating that their daughters get good jobs to protect themselves from certain men
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 01:48 AM
1

It’s not my fault that one I edited it and then 4 minutes later you responded. That honestly ain’t my issue. It also has nothing to do with anything as you were saying her point was anything but that. I wouldn’t have had to put it if you read her comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:39 AM

I edited that before you sent your comment bullshit. Not to mention it was there the whole time from the other woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:34 AM

Once again cause I need you to fucking read, “ I think portraying yourself as realistic is okay. Nothing wrong with putting Clark Kent out first and then showing you can be Superman too. Like yeah I am this at base level but also I can do these things. And integrate it into a realistic and sustainable way.” Clark Kent was never supposed to be what you are describing it. And quote where she said that men will defend a shitty man. So your point to me was useless anyway then as we acknowledge that …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:28 AM
3

And let me help you with what you said, “ pretending to be something that you are not to secure the relationship and reverting back to your useless, Inept true state when you secured the bag” That means you see the Clark Kent, which was supposed to be a stand in for the guys true self as all of these things. Now to address the other parts. That doesn’t always mean emotional neglect. For some he could not be getting what he wants, he could be stressed, tired, sad whatever. But the fact that again…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:21 AM
2

That’s not what we are talking about lol. You jumped to extremes. One could be lazy and not emotional neglect. If you see the guy getting more comfortable as useless and inept, then you prove my point on why dudes have to be that way otherwise they’ll be seem that way lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:09 AM
7

More often than not trying to be friends first and then date them often doesn’t work and then you lost a friend. You can approach a person as a person but trying to be friends first and then date is often the wrong way to go about things.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 10:04 PM

Look at my last statement
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:40 PM
8

Who said anything about pretending to care and then emotionally neglecting someone?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:39 PM

That’s a good way to make friends for sure. To get a partner? Not so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:33 PM
8

How many people fluff things up for the sake of a partner? I know women do with just makeup alone. It’s the same thing. It doesn’t make anyone a good or bad person.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:33 PM
13

You say that but most guys will absolutely not get into a relationship that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:22 PM
2

I gave more than a tv example
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:21 PM
2

Look at every tv show and see the dynamic between the husband and the wife. It’s shown that the wife normally comes in behind and fixes all of the husbands mistakes. Look at how the discussion about how different the genders are. They mainly say things like dudes act barbaric or they don’t even know how to wash their own ass etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 08:56 PM
2

They definitely are. Socialization? Women have been treated as the smarter sex for as long as I can remember. Most women weren’t even alive for the years of when people thought women couldn’t do things like math. Just because something is hard work doesn’t mean it’s extremely useful.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 08:52 PM
15

Even you acknowledged how much it is to get a woman. A lot of that won’t be sustainable to do for the rest of your life. That doesn’t give an excuse not to try, sure. But regardless men do have to do a lot to get into one so it’s understandable that dudes want to chill out at least a bit
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 08:47 PM
2

You see the pattern as we are trying to encourage more women into the spaces you said they are discouraged from joining. Is there a need to help people? Sure but does it trump keeping electricity and water running? No as without that things will become even worse. It does help society. But it doesn’t help as much as what I said above and not to mention it actually comes out of taxes so it’s arguably a negative. They are paid less because it’s easy to use a machine to make a product. It’s harder …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 08:02 PM
1

It’s more than just wanting pussy. It’s about feeling wanted and also how often times men are raised. There can be more than one. Well considering most women vote more than men if you want to take it that way then sure. But women are just as much apart of this society and wars happen often with a society backing it up. They may not be the ones signing it but they are the ones putting people in power in western countries and also the ones that also uphold patriarchal views as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:47 PM
1

Well you literally said war is started by their egos so yes. And women having patriarchal views doesn’t mean they contribute to the issues of society?? Sounds like you are the one infantilizing and giving no agency to women when they out vote men and often hold these ideas.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:39 PM
1

So you don’t think war, which you said is about ego for men, isn’t influenced by how women see them, which is also an ego thing for men? Lol sure dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:36 PM
3

Yes. Because not everything has a study. Things start out as hypothesis
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:35 PM

Ok then do you believe that women with patriarchal ideas also influence these ideas now that you acknowledge that?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:32 PM

Lol why are you scared of a question?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:27 PM

The average for a registered nurse right now is 89,000… It’s tokenistic yet it’s why most women are in college and why men aren’t??? Social work isn’t as important as a job like engineering or electrical. One is a need to keep lights and key things going while another is helping those unfortunate. Help is a luxury at the end of the day. Not a need to keep society running
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:07 PM

By roping this into a man vs women idea. We acknowledge that it’s often wealthy people at the top. Yet you keep going with the idea that it’s all men. Especially even the example I gave of women and how they can shame men into these things with their views on how men should be. It’s not just men. And vitriol? What part of my comment had vitriol? Quote where I said something nasty about women. It’s perpetrated by both. I’ve seen comments like “ a real man fights for his woman” by both genders dud…

Who is discouraged from certain industries? Most of the time I’ve seen companies and scholarships for women to get into male dominated jobs and even quotas. The jobs that women do are often social work which you could argue is not as important as engineering. But women often are into nursing which pays really well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:01 PM

Then talk to them??

Your last sentence right there shows that it’s less of a man thing and more of a wealth thing like I just said.

Women earn less due to the jobs they choose. More women have degrees than men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:43 PM

Yes it’s victim blaming dude. You are seeing men who have no control over politics and just living a normal life, some of which are more unfortunate than you being told to go fight in a war they had no part in and saying “welp they both have a cock so 🤷🏾” the fact that you asked is insane. Egotistical? Some wars start over the raping of said women in the first place. And let’s not act like there are still a lot of women who view guys in a negative way for not being a macho man and not wanting to…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:43 PM
1

And I disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:24 PM
1

You do realize war is more than just one person starting something right?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:24 PM
3

Well with everything that’s being pushed out that says that men are extremely dangerous to the point that we can’t even have conversations with strangers like we did in the past, I’d say they show that that’s the case
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:22 PM
1

Disagree. It oftens taught now how women did this and that. If anything the way women see the world is what goes. It’s acceptable to hate on men even in classes but not the other way around or even critique women from what I’ve seen
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:21 PM
1

And women weren’t always put into the terrible situations of the past
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:19 PM

So at this point what is now currently the end goal of feminism? More women are in college. Women have gotten rid of their gender roles. Women are starting to earn the same as men and when single and in big cities earn more than men while single. They are starting to own more property. At what point do we say “it’s done and it’s did what it’s supposed to do”?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:16 PM

Birth rates are declining in countries where feminism is a big talking point
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:10 PM
1

So it’s scarier because people don’t go out and talk?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:08 PM
1

And you are forgetting that only one gender is is forced to do so
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:07 PM

“The FBI data, which compares crime rates in the third quarter of 2023 to the same period last year, found that violent crime dropped 8%, while property crime fell 6.3% to what would be its lowest level since 1961, according to criminologist Jeff Asher, who analyzed the FBI numbers.” https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna129585 Violent crime is at in all time low.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:05 PM

And it seems like the men are fighting the same people for worse issues honestly. Not to mention there were women holding women back as well. This is more of a wealthy issue than a man versus women issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:04 PM
6

What’s all the time? Cause I mainly see them bitching about men for that and some how still blaming men with patriarchal dating preferences of women
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:02 PM
1

And?? One was sent to die and often this is how it was in the past as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 06:00 PM
1

Lol just gonna forget the fact that while men were fighting against the draft for Vietnam women were burning bras?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:56 PM
1

Your last sentence just explains if anything how men are seen right there and kinda proves my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:51 PM

They are successful cause people are on average shorter there. The average height in china is 5’8. There are plenty of men that are shorter than that. (Myself included). This does not mean that just because the average population is shorter that women will not prefer someone taller. And that literally paints a picture. More often than not they are struggling to even date anyway lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:49 PM
2

Women have a whole campaign for it but sure. Bottom line is that it’s way more socially acceptable to hate or criticize dudes than it is women right now
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:45 PM
2

And most importantly getting support by everyone. Name a time when men get the same amount of support for threats. Not to mention imagine your gender being talked shit about in class.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:42 PM
3

No men just get threats on their life
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:40 PM
2

Lol there was no moving of the goal post. He brought up that point cause the guys said the same could be said about men with the 80/20 rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:40 PM
1

No but that’s what the other guy is implying. You still didn’t answer the question
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:38 PM
2

Dude just cause the average height is shorter in those countries that doesn’t mean women don’t want taller men. Also if you wanna go that route you can also see that those countries are declining in kids and relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:38 PM
3

The same for a man?? Hate isn’t unique to women online
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:34 PM
1

Except let’s be real, which gender has stricter preferences?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:34 PM
1

Yes??? Height is still something that women look for
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:33 PM
1

There’s definitely dudes who are into that. BBW is an example
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:31 PM
1

Love that the solution is still the guys fault. Are we gonna keep this same energy towards women?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:31 PM
1

So the Bible? Something that people are moving away from? Not to mention god gave punishment when Adam ate it rather than just when eve ate it. Let’s not pretend women are under scrutiny as much as men are. It’s ok for women to hate men in today’s society due to the “hit up not down” idea seeing all men as oppressors.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:27 PM
1

That’s not why it was fun. It was fun cause even when women hit on you sometimes it’s not in a way like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 03:26 AM
2

I’m straight. But even then it still made my day
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 03:23 AM
4

I’ve had guys hit on me. I’d still say that I’d rather switch roles with women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/24 06:46 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
