A lot of what the red pill says about biology and human nature is correct, but the blue pill is right when it comes to morals. I think most women do have a dualistic sexual strategy and women are really mostly attracted to looks, money and status. But still, that's not an excuse to manipulate women to get them to have sex with you. A lot of the tactics the red pill recommends using, like dread game, are really messed up. I really think authenticity and trust are important in romantic relationshi…

No, I have a high-pitched, and when I have gone out in the past, I've noticed that talking louder only made people think I was more annoying. It's true that I don't go out a lot now, but I have gone to parties and stuff like that before so I do have experience.

Yeah I do. If you honestly think that a guy with a high-pitched voice can make himself more attractive by talking louder, you're either trolling or have no idea what you're talking about.

No trust me, girls really find guys with high-pitched voices irritatinng, and they'd find them even more irritating if they talked louder.

Talking louder probably only works if you have a deep voice.

A lot. My voice is pretty high-pitched (someone recently told me I sound like Michael Cera), and I think it's one of the reasons why I'm extremely unattractive and people don't take me seriously.

Not that far. I don't trust women enough to travel more than 30 minutes to meet one. Like what if I drove 3 hours to meet a woman and she flaked? That would suck. I also hate travelling.

It's simple. One of the main things that women are attracted to in a man is social status. Women have no way of gauging a pseudonymous redditor's social staus, so it's impossible for a woman to become interested in a guy she met on Reddit, unless that guy was exceptionally attractive, exceptionally wealthy, or gave the woman some proof that he wasn't a nobody. Also, people don't always want to date people in their league. Ugly people almost never want to date other ugly people, they want to date…

The only reason those girls don't end up with Chad is because they're settling. It's literally just alpha fucks, beta bucks. I really do believe all women are like that, and I don't believe that any woman can truly love a man as much as a man can love a woman. And we'd all like to not be so superficial about everything, but that's just the reality of the dating scene nowadays. It's ingrained in our nature. Guys are obviously superficial as hell too. It's not uncommon for a guy to reject an ugly …

The Red Pill is amoral. That is, it seeks to explain intersexual dynamics in sexual and romantic relationships from a scientific point of view. It makes no statement about morals or ethics. For example, the red pill doesn't say that hypergamy is moral or immoral. There are redpillers who "love sluts" and think that hypergamy is totally natural. There are also redpillers who think hypergamy is completely immoral. However, they all agree that hypergamy exists.

Yes, this is the point I was trying to make, thanks for clarifying that.

Well, I'm not saying all women are unattracted to guys who want romantic relationships, but you have to admit that a lot are. I mean most guys see a pattern: as soon as they let their guard down and truly act like themselves around women, their girlfriends lose attraction to them, and leave them for Chad. I think there certainly are a lot of women who are interested in romantic relationships, but a lot of women actually are hypergamous, rather than strictly monogamous.

I'm actually a virgin too. But honestly, I think that's wishful thinking. In your case, your lack of success with women might be due to your mindset or a lack of self-confidence. However, there are a lot of guys out there that have bad luck with women simply because they have a low sexual market value. I remember when I was younger and would go to parties with my friends, all the girls would hit on my friends while I got pretty much no female attention. And I know it's not because I lack self-co…

There are a couple possibilities here. The first possibility is that there are basically two types of Red Pillers. There are people who recently found out about the Red Pill, and are angry because they realized they've been lied to, and that they wasted their time by being a nice guy, instead of trying to actually improve their sexual market value by lifting, learning game, working towards a lucrative career, etc. On the other hand, there are also people who have known about the Red Pill for a l…

I think your statistical analysis is flawed. It's true that each of those 3 traits is only present in 2.5% of males, however, two of those traits (broad shoulders and large penis size) tend to exist together, since they're both caused by high testosterone levels. So in reality, for every 1600 men, only one would be considered ideal by women. However, I'm not trying to downplay the fact that women have ridiculously high expectations of men. The fact that only one in every 1600 men would be consid…

But your friends probably aren't representative of all men. People tend to hang out with people who have about the same SMV as they do, so it's possible that most of your male friends are just really attractive.

Honestly, I'd rather be smart, and I'm neither good-looking nor intelligent. People value looks more in certain social contexts, but intelligence is more valuable overall. For example, if you're intelligent you can start a business, get a good, high-paying career, enjoy the finer aspects of life, and have a much clearer understanding of the world. Intelligence opens way more doors than good looks do. If you're intelligent, you can become a scientist, a writer, a lawyer, an entrepreneur, etc. If …

Well TRP doesn't actually speculate that much about evolutionary psychology. They only use evolutionary psychology to explain why women are hypergamous, and the whole provider/protector thing. And culture obviously shapes human behavior, but when humans all over the world exhibit a certain behavior, it suggests that that behavior might be innate to some degree. And if you look at pretty much every country in the world, and read descriptions of women throughout history, you'll see that women act …

Humans are constantly evolving. Perhaps the equal treatment of men and women by society has caused men and women to evolve to be more similar in terms of intelligence. But I guess this could also mean that IQ scores are partially affected by cultural expectations. There is a lot of evidence that IQ tests are culturally biased and that a phenomenon known as stereotype threat can decrease performance Could you post some links? IQ scores differ more among White people and African-Americans than amo…

Men are of course selective as well, but not as selective as women. A lot of surveys show that on college campuses, for example, a small fraction of men are having sex with most of the women. Also, a survey of Tinder users found that 80% of women got laid through Tinder, whereas only 20% of men did. Also, historically, in societies where polygamy was tolerated, only a small percentage of men married, and those that did usually had multiple wives. Not only that but hypergamy makes sense from the …

Oh sorry I thought you were responding to my other comment. But to answer your question: no, I don't think that cultural expectations have much to do with it. I think IQ tests are fairly objective measures of intelligence, and I don't think there's any evidence that cultural or societal expectations affect IQ scores.

Hypergamy is the idea that women tend to date up in terms of social status and attractiveness, which means that the majority of women are only attracted to a small proportion of men.

No I don't. I think men are biologically hard-wired to want attention and affection from women (and women are biologically hard-wired to want attention from men).

Betrayal is probably the wrong word, but the fact that women aren't attracted to me makes me feel awful.

I disagree. In my opinion, a cult needs to have some kind of hierarchy in order to be considered a cult. Also, most people view sex as a measure of success in life, not just red pillers. Male virgins are seen as losers for the most part. And even people who say that there's nothing wrong with being a male virgin will often shame male virgins.

I never said or implied I was immune to rationalization. In fact, in my post I basically said that I started following the red pill because I was trying to rationalize why I rarely got any attention from women and couldn't get laid.

I really don't think the red pill is a cult. This idea that all red pillers are being manipulated by TRP mods just doesn't make sense, because the red pill didn't even get started on reddit. It got started by a bunch of bloggers in the manosphere, and even today, a lot of red pill stuff is posted on youtube and blogs. I also disagree with the idea that red pillers are just a bunch of guys who can't get laid. Sure, there are a lot of people like that. But a lot of red pillers out there are really…

There actually is a lot of historical, genealogical, and scientific evidence which suggests that women are hypergamous. And there actually is a lot of evidence for IQ differences between men and women too (http://personal.lse.ac.uk/kanazawa/pdfs/PAID2011.pdf).

What Thomas Sowell said is very interesting, but if you look at the general population, it's still true that there's more variance in male intelligence than in female intelligence. But I don't think many red pillers believe that there aren't any highly intelligent women out there. I've met many incredibly intelligent women in my life and there are tons of examples of brilliant female scientists. But women are still somewhat less likely to be highly intelligent than men are.
