Im big on the romantic side but want to learn to build sexual attraction more exclusively

I feel like this is exactly what throws things off. People embody a stereotype in order to communicate a cluster of characteristics to a person, while others embody it naturally (as in unconsciously becoming their environment vs doing it so people will view you a certain way). For example, I like metal, but making myself into visible being a metal-head would make those outside the circle have the wrong impression of me. But now because I don't look like the avg metalhead, I can't associate with …

That still doesn't address any aspect of what I said. Option A and Option B cannot exist individually. A hypothetical has to be realistic. Do you want protein? Or do you want amino acids? Either way you get both.

How a person thinks inevitably affects what they do. How else can you extrapolate how a person thinks if not by observing how they act in tandem with how they speak? It's like being alive without existing. You need to exist to be alive. You can't act out-of-accordance with how you think. You can speak in contrary to it but that normally stems from a lack of self awareness.

Very simple. Acting entitled to something indicates not believing you should work for it. Wanting something is simply the desire for it. Entitlement stems from wanting something while also not wanting to do the work that comes with it. It's a "have your cake and eat it too," mentality. That says, if you have done the work and haven't gotten what you want (and I mean legitimately), having a sense of entitlement isn't necessarily wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 06:36 PM

That isn't really a point unless it's the same men saying both things. Otherwise you're just describing different people having different viewpoints within the same demographic.

Calling someone ugly in a society where beauty doesn't matter would be like telling me I'm bad at a sport I don't play or care about. Sure it may be intended as an insult, but there's no framework in which it matters.

It's giving free validation. The more validation a person receives about something, the less each individual piece matters. Even as a guy, when girls call you hot every day, the girls who call you hot become less special over time because it's commonplace. It's just a Wednesday.

There exist examples beyond yourself. Just because you have a certain experience doesn't mean it's the only experience. That's immature logic. You are still missing the points of reference by continuing to refer to only one half of the comparison. How many shy girls do you know who have or have not been asked out? Compared that to the amount of Shy guys you know who may or may not have that experience. That's how you arrive at a logical conclusion. "Shy" also doesn't mean "uninterested." Besides…

It was clarified that "plenty of dates" is meant in comparison to what a shy man would get. Just because you get more dates as an outgoing woman than as a shy woman doesn't mean you don't also get plenty as a shy woman compared to a shy man. You're missing the points of reference here.

No one said it isn't an impediment, just that it typically doesn't affect male attraction towards a woman the way it does when the roles are reversed

Women definitely approach men at concerts, rare as it might be. Just because you haven't seen or heard of it doesn't mean it hasn't or doesn't happen. And though each gender may have qualities that are more common to them, it also doesn't mean that the opposite gender can't contain individuals who have those qualities. That's just black & white thinking.

I see. Not sure how the previous user conflates that concept with men seeing "chase" as a reward. If anything it sounds like the reverse would be true.

Sounds more like you're accustomed to being alone than anything due to your gender. You'll need a control group before you arrive at any conclusions about anything other than yourself. That said, I'm sure there are people who'd love to befriend you according to some of these comments. You deserve friends.

No, but you need to see that you're incompatible with it. What's really being asked is "what aspect of this is incompatible with you?"

Wanna be more specific than "that"? & what aspect of what i said indicated any emotion? Sounds like you're misattributing. I didn't make any claims as to things anyone has specifically said either. Sounds like you're projecting the fact that you're making shit up onto me

It doesn't have to be intentional. It is essentially trying to "see how someone would react": Tests include but are not limited to: -making fun of a man in some way to see if he reacts in a secure fashion -flirting with another man in front of him to see if he has a secure or insecure reaction -not speaking to the man after a while after some very good conversation to see if it becomes needy Men don't necessarily "test" but they can and when they do its typically intentional. However the double …

Yeah don't reply that bro esp not with that emoji. Not only is it a longer response but heart eyes show more commitment than she does. Either show as much commitment or a bit less. She probably didn't consider that a "masculine response" esp if you use emojis a lot. Texts are for setting up dates, not to constantly check in with a girl you've dated once.

I don't think the assuming is that it's flirting. Simply that it's a signal the flirting might be welcome.

Yeah sure, the person that the person I was responding to was speaking to believes that. I think that's a but hyperbolic. All I'm saying is what I've said.

There are levels to "liking" something, but it's fair to say a person's "dislike" of something typically translates to disapproval of it, at the very least for themselves.

Meaning?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 10:19 AM

I think you're missing the point. A like doesn't necessarily indicate similar experiences as said here, but it is literally an expression of liking something. Do you not approve of the things you like? Is that not literally the meaning of what it is to like something?

And we only know what 10% of the human genome actually codes for. That's a misleading statistic ya got there given 40% of what you describe is dubbed "misc" until further notice.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 08:17 PM

That's a misleading statistic. We don't know what the majority of that DNA you speak of codes for, only actually being able to account for closer to 10% of what the human genome does. We share 99.99% of our genes bc we don't know wtf 90% of them do. I agree with your point, but your premise is false.

Freedom cannot be obtained by "wanting less" That is conformity, i.e., not alpha by your definition. It also sounds like you're referring to HS or college days, where people don't necessarily have adult values. Women aren't privy to their subconscious system of selection in their adolescence and typically become more scrupulous in adulthood. What you are feeling now is the shock of having become a hardworking after having been a slacker who gets rewarded just by existing. I was the same way. Wel…

Gotta embed the smoothness into your being to the point where you don't have to turn it "on" or "off" There are dominant ways to deal with negative emotions. Problem is a lot of men get stuck in the "fake it til you make it" phase, but if you never make it, faking won't cut it when you drop your guard And I'm sure many men can attest that some of their best pickups have happened when they were truly just vibing and hitting the marks without any conscious effort, because they will remain dominant…
