Find hobbies and interest groups that you are into. You’ll meet people there.

It’s shouldn’t be this financially crippling to get divorced. It so fucked up. I wish there was a better way. Especially now with rent or housing so ridiculous. There is no way. I have been wondering lately if family law attorneys are taking a hit with people that want to get out of their marriages but can’t bc it’s impossible to live on one income. Especially if spousal support and child support are involved. Fukin ridiculous.

Are you able to text or FaceTime him when he’s at moms? Honestly just your presence when he is with you is plenty. So much comfort in always having dad around. Even if dad is just hanging out watching TV. You don’t have to be over scheduled or over the top when he is with you. One of my fave things about my dad when I think about it is him watching his history channel and just hanging out around the house on a lazy day. He’s passed away long time now and I still like to put on history channel ju…

He will find out eventually how awful she is. Will likely experience the same pain you did. Play the long game.

Yes indeed. I went to the grocery store in my yoga pants and felt great (been working out since nov 2019) and I felt great. Had 3 different men give me “i want to fuck you” eyes and I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day. Felt amazing.

Your family isn’t the one locked into an unhappy or unfulfilling contract. Get out and feel good about it.

Life is short. Since you have a good set up to be on your own do it. If y’all come back to each other later that’s fine just don’t get married again. It’s one of the dumbest thing we can do as humans.

I just read something on the other sub Reddit. Someone wrote “Divorce is better than dysfunction” and man I’d that ain’t the truth. Especially for the children. You did good.

Would love to be at a point to lease a place. I’m forever stuck it feel like. This is a good place you’re in. A hopeful place. Sound like things are looking. At least you will loose those awful uncertain worries in your stomach. Little by little. Honestly sound like this is a good bend in the road.

God how can people so horrible? It’s so unfair and seems to be a constant injustice for so many people. There has to be a better way.

This happened with my husbands mother. At one point I got left behind on an afternoon walk on the beach. It seemed like him and his mom had a nice afternoon beach walk. …I will never forget this kind of bullshit. Lol Edit…this happened during marriage and still keeps happening yearly bc I’m still married. I am completely stuck where I am for now. I see no way out except to get through til our son is 18 in 4 years. It’s all fucked y’all lol
