I mentioned to a few friends of mine, and my girlfriend, separately about my ex not going down on me. All of them said the same thing. ‘Was he gay?’ They were so upset on my behalf. ETA: most were from male friends.

I’m disabled, so I often put down things like “mental health quality assessment” on forms that aren’t important. There’s no disabled option. It’s just unemployed.

One time I was in town, grabbing something, was with a gay male friend. You know those annoying sales people, who harass you to sell you stuff? There was this one, he was really pushy and annoying. So I decided to bite. Turns out, he was trying to sell a credit debit card. This was before these were really widespread, so I pretended not to understand. How can it be a credit card, if you use your own money? A credit card is loan money you pay back. If there’s no credit, isn’t it just a debit card…

Can confirm. My dad just sold his house for 880k, during covid. Some houses on that street are worth more. Half the street are tradies. Mind you, this isn’t a major city. We’re talking coastal town.

There’s a comedian on Netflix, can’t remember her name, has a special called baby cobra or something. She says in one special, her whole life, she wanted a man to provide for her, and she’d happily stay home and raise the kids. This was shattered when she had a baby. She said she went back to work to get away from the kid lol. She even said how it sounded so good growing up. Guess it’s a societal thing.

That’s actually a pretty slippery slope. Believe it or not, security has been called numerous times on men changing their kids, in a public toilet/changing room. The problem being, is that those men are seen as pedos. When they’re just parenting. This further reinforces the societal expectation that women should be the caregivers of children, while men don’t do any of the dirty work (pun intended). Which basically means women at home looking after kids while the man works. It’s a shitty thing tb…

Definitely! The toilets are also a really common spot for information, as it’s about the only private place the victim can go. The best I saw, was one written in English, then a bunch of different women wrote on it the translation in different languages. Of course, they’re hit and miss, because advertising money takes precedence 🙄

Yeah true. I dunno. I need to get my shit well and truly sorted before even thinking of having kids tbh.

I once joked if I had kids, it wouldn’t be guns I’d be cleaning when they brought a partner home. It’d be knives. And I’d ask them if they wanted to help. Because who doesn’t love a knife collection? The responses were mostly to leave that to the dad. Like, seriously? (Also, my kids would know how to use weapons and be taught martial arts.) But I can’t have kids, so probably won’t be doing that lol.

My stepbrothers ex was the result of a prostitute and a client. She was actually rather abusive to her as well. The client had his time bought by his wife, because she’d had a baby and was sick of being asked for sex, so made sure he got it from someone with no emotional attachments. I don’t think that marriage actually lasted that much longer.

Reminds me of a dating show I once saw because someone was watching it on tv. Guy invites her over to his house for a date. He enjoys cooking, so he prepares a meal for her. Sounds alright, I guess? He’s Greek. He invites his whole fucking family over to meet her. She was so overwhelmed, he didn’t get a second date. He said it was a cultural thing. I call bull. It’s no wonder he was on a dating show, being unable to get a date and get a second one. He was like “But this is normal!” No it’s not.

Sex should be fun, a bit messy, and hot. It’s sweaty, there’s various bodily fluids and noises. It’s not always pretty. But it should always be fun. My girlfriend wants to try giving me multiples, but I don’t think I can... I get too sensitive after one orgasm!

I know some people in the bdsm community, and the things I hear most that piss them off are: Lack of understanding/caring of consent No safe wording Try hards, who have no clue, but heard of 50 shades and that 5 minute overheard discussion is all they need to know Try hard men who think women are submissive. Ah, no, that’s not how that works. Just because someone is a submissive, doesn’t mean they’re your submissive. General lack of common sense and safety 50 shades. It’s abuse plain and simple.…

I had someone reach out and touch me on a train... took off my headphones and she was begging for money. I pretended not to speak English. Latin is really good for that. She got upset and told me I understood English, but stormed off to the next carriage, so... Good on you! If he decides he’s going to harass you at all, well... maybe he needs to step up and sort his shit out. Maybe if mummy knew she had a grandchild... Sorry, I can be very petty. But the best revenge is living your life to the fullest. They can watch windows. A friend of mine has cctv all around her house and one looking out the kitchen window. The bikies next door to,d them after a holiday someone was snooping around, and they chased them off. Turns out being good quiet neighbours when you live next to bikies, and are two women, means they get a little protective of you. They still did the cameras. They’ve got footage of the bikies chasing people away now lol.

Compliments should be earned. Maybe do something worth being complimented over? Here’s an example: I have hair that brushes the top of my butt. It’s a lot of work. A lot of brushing, a lot of scrunchies, a lot of shampoo and conditioner and leave in treatments. I often sleep with my hair tied back, with extra scrunchies added in along its length to help stop tangling. It takes ten minutes to wash it properly. It’s long and thick and because I look after it, really shiny. I even got an ombré. Fro…

These are the guys who only bring up male rape victims when the discussion is about women. Had one of these message me on Facebook, because he “accidentally” clicked my profile, and saw a picture I’d posted about men being raped too (for solidarity for a few male friends), and he thanked me for the laugh, because any man would just lie back and enjoy it. Fair. A man who really wants a kid, will do what a New Zealand MP did, and bring the kid to work. He’d just finished paternity leave. My dad hates porn. Found this out when I came home from school, to find porn streaming on his computer. Rang him up, and he was still working. We spoke more later that night, when he came home. Turned out, one of the neighbours kids, had somehow gotten through three gates, and past a large dog, opened a door that barely anyone knew was there, and was watching porn on my dads work computer. As a currently single woman, I will admit I watch porn now and then. Just for something different, for myself. I know a lot of people who are the same, male and female. Sometimes the partner just isn’t in the mood, and it’s better than just doing it on your own, if that makes sense. That’s what normal is. But some men are just shit, and probably have death gripped their dick so much they don’t feel shit having sex, and need an excuse to keep watching porn. Or just... no respect. Take your pick.

Of course this was the same discussion where the guy from Saudi Arabia was telling me how he went to a seedy part of Sydney got drunk and woke on a strange woman’s couch so... He loved it here. When he had to go back home he’d bring a ton of pirated movies for his family.

Yeah being so long ago sure. But it does make sense. The Gregorian calendar isn’t the only one in the world. And to be fair he was bitching about keeping track of two calendars lol

Actually no. By our calendar she’d have been around 15 iirc. Which was a normal age to be married by in medieval times. But just because it was acceptable then doesn’t mean it is now. Of course this is based on what I was told. If they were wrong well...

Not standing up for that but they did use a different calendar. She wasn’t 9 by our calendar. I remember talking to a Muslim man about that. He knew his age in two calendars. 24 and 15 iirc. It was a few years back.

Well would you like to be the one to try telling them they can’t do that job? Yeah I didn’t think so. We have a lot of female bus drivers in my hometown. You don’t mess with them. They’re tougher than the men. The men just mock you for throwing rocks at the bus. The women will jump off and chase you.

That’s like what I wanted for my first car. Now I can’t drive for medical reasons. I was always asked what type of car I’d get. I didn’t care. As long as it runs, gets me from a to b and doesn’t cost a fortune I’d be happy. Heck I’d have been happy to borrow my mums car. Not like I’d have been driving everywhere as I didn’t have much of a social life, but could have gotten experience. I always say to steer clear of Ford lasers though. My sisters first two cars were lasers. Drunk speeding driver …
