I do this with my children. My children. How can she even face herself in the mirror after doing this? Then going online and sharing it with the world? Babe needs help.

As though we have the time/inclination to even do this, lol. What. A. Waste. I’m not wasting my time tryna educate creeps either- BOY, I DON’T TEASE AND I DEFINITELY DON’T TEACH.

Great recommendation- I love her work. I read a couple of her books when I did a project the effects of pornography as it relates to the childbirth industry. Google “the husband stitch” if you wanna rage.

Oh gods, he’s only seventeen!! I can’t help but think - my son is just a year younger, he’s so innocent and goofy and it would just shatter me if he became like this. It could happen in a heartbeat. This is a sobering thought. It definitely galvanized my commitment to teaching my kids about the serious danger of pornography, and about respect for our fellow humans, especially the vulnerable ones. I’ll be damned before I let this happen under my watch.

This would be shameful behavior if it were a friend of his, but his partner!? Unspeakably vile. He just listened to her stomach growling in the night, oblivious to her pain/embarrassment… disgusting. 50/50 is a snare and a racket.

I’m really impressed by the Blood in the Water tec, it’s innovative, efficient and clever- my three favorite things, lol

Oh no. Stop. I’m so frightened. Just trembling in my mean, evil woman boots. Whatever will us poor gals do now?!?

I just brush after every coffee. It low key helped me cut back on the caffeine, because I’d have to wait for the recently brushed taste to go away before having another. When I’m going to be somewhere there are no facilities, I keep those little disposable toothbrushes and breath strips with me at all times. My grandmother taught me that it is offensive, like a serious insult, to the people you speak to if your breath isn’t fresh.

I’m just appalled and flabbergasted, like in what universe is this okay (outside of a health emergency or something)?? I’m so sorry that happened. What a violation.

I’m sure this will be pretty unpopular, but I learned how to use and carry a weapon. I always at least carry pepper spray, but usually it’s more. I’ve never actually had to use a weapon in real life, but it’s been close enough a couple of times for me to feel justified. In general, though, I would recommend caution. Try to be alert to their vibe. Having grown up in a mentality/physically abusive home, I had to learn to pick my battles, and learned how to handle an unhinged man. See, a snarky com…

This is so true. I’ve been “too much” for just about everyone- too loud, too bright, too much hair, too wild, too fast, too clever, too serious, too silly… I innately understood it was their weakness, not mine, but eventually, in my twenties- early thirties, the constant criticism got to me, and I crumpled myself into their box, or tried anyway. I suffered for this mistake-alcoholism, drug addiction, depression, and anxiety. Now I’m one of those cool, confident older women who just can’t be arse…

I like a good popcorn romance novel from time to time, but soooo many are unreadably rapey, so I’m really, really picky. I love the Dark Hunter/Dream Hunter series, the League/Nemesis series and the Lords of Avalon series by the author Sherrilyn McQueen, formerly Sherrilyn Kenyon. She has a harrowing cautionary tale from her real life. Her ex-husband, who by all accounts seemed like a HVM, was found to be poisoning her and stealing her money, among other things.

Everyone has a past- and many times it feels embarrassing, but honestly you can’t do better if you don’t know better. Now that you know better, you do better. I believe it’s peak humanity to recognize a past mistake, learn everything you can from the mistake, and use that new knowledge to move forward and improve. Undue influence used against women and girls in our society is strong and pervasive- it’s difficult to break free and see it for what it is. You’ve done that, and it’s such a huge unde…

Disgusting, shameful behavior. You deserve compassion and empathy, and he objectified and abused you in your grief. I am so sorry for your loss, and so sorry this creep treated you like that.

It seems like it’s always the low-value, impotent, boring and/or stupid ones that decry hypergamy the loudest. The high-value ones don’t have time (or inclination) to wallow in self-pity.

Seriously- the moment you see that kind of violent anger (yes, yelling and cursing in traffic counts) cut and run. Inability to express anger/frustration in a healthy way is a massive, bright bloody red flag.

I was literally always worried when my sister was a teenager- she was the pick-me type that falls for these schemes. A “modeling” recruiter roped her into a job as a cocktail waitress in a strip club at age 18, and the managers and some of the dancers were constantly pressuring her to “dance.” Eventually she left the job because of this pressure, because even though she was gullible, she had some semblance of boundaries.

So, I’m a midwife and I can tell you this- most of my clients would have done well to not have the baby’s father present at the birth... sooo many stories about the audacity of some of the creepy dickhead fathers I’ve seen.
