To be fair, controversial isn't necessarily a judgment. I don't think naming something "controversial" is choosing a side or assessing the validity of that thing. Then again, maybe Wikipedia doesn't think this way. But I understand "controversial" to mean "that which creates a substantial amount of agreement and disagreement"

This may seem absurd now but mentalities are evolving in a way where I see this being a possibility in 50+ years. I mean LOOK at what is being taught in liberal universities. YES, this is absurd and wrong but it is the unfortunate future. We will seem like barbarians to these enlightened totalitarians.

Opponents of this would tell you that the "justice system is 'criminal' ". They will never give this argument legitimacy because of their flawed and victimized world-view. This won't help, and I'm in your situation in college, but from what I remember from early highschool was that relationships were mostly transient and that the people in those relationships mostly cared about showing off. Highschool (at least from what I remember) is allot about making your own image, being popular, etc... And being in a relationship really epitomizes the image of the popular guy/girl.
