Depending on the situation and locale they do respond. Besides that if you read the complete story you would have understood that they were responding to calls at the time. I'm a former first responder so I've been on the other side of these situations. My issue was that due to the number of calls they were receiving it was literally impossible for me to get back in touch with them "If it gets worse". During a really bad storm last year we had a tree and telephone pole with a transformer on it fall into our driveway. The telephone pole crashed through the roof of a car. So why does the person who contributed nothing to the assets entitled to half of them. The idea that in a broken marriage that results in divorce both people were equally responsible for the assets is pure insanity. He is probably giving her extra money in order to keep your situation at home a more comfortable environment.
