Entire cultures or subcultures can be percieved as "creepy", yes, if that's what you're asking. It depends on the specific state laws regarding legal parenthood. In some states, any children putatively concieved during the marriage are automatically presumptively legally the husband's child. I've always kinda wanted to see a dude knock up his mistress and then go after his (ex)wife for child support under these laws and the 14th amendment.
