dont mind him. I feel like body posture and language are very very under-rated and under-appreciated concepts in a first date and that you made good points; if the girl is leaning in, you should too. and if she's not, you shouldn't.

it is beta shit, and I feel embarrassed about it. I let a girl take absolute control over my feelings, and everything she does dictates my happiness. I've been much better and started to date again (have one tomorrow night for first time since september).

I feel like you are right on this one.. I totally fell in love with this girl until she moved to mississippi and developed one-itis afterwards. I came off needy and feel like the only way I can redeem myself in the future is to break off most, if not all, contact. It really really hurts, but I feel like I have to convey to her that I'm not going to be around every time she whistles and that i'm not just going to be one of those guys that will always stick around.
