I always heard showing emotions is good? Are we back to men have to be stoic and not show emotions?

No, I think 50% of rent is less than 100% of rent.

For example, you save alot of money I mean the whole post is nonsense, but this really takes the crown.

Neurotypical humans need both. It is perfectly normal to be sad about missing out on it. It is disgusting behaviour to gaslight men into thinking their feelings about not being able to fulfill these needs aren't valid. It's disgusting telling them they just need to put less emphasis on their (very real and biologically programmed) needs and they will go away.

Are we honestly arguing here about wether human connection and love are a human need or not? How utterly vile must your character be to deny that?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:05 PM

It's actually the biological need. No more βίος if nobody felt that need.

You can belittle it all you want, it is a very real human need programmed to our DNA, not a silly notion you can just "decenter".

We could also get rid of food stamps if we stopped regarding being well fed and healthy as a metric for success or self worth.

Don't act like your sexist prejudices are some kind of biological imperative. You're just terribly afraid of losing the privilege you have in society.

You sound like an absolute garbage human being with insane biases and double standards.

Well, if a woman likes to be approached that would certainly mean that she is insecure, and why would I want an insecure woman, right?

What is insecure about enjoying it when people take interest in you?

would that really be desirable for most men? Yes.

So is there no right to all of those things either because the need for nourishment supersedes all of them?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 05:05 PM

Food also supersedes access to education, freedom of expression, the right to vote...most of things if you think about it. So?

or a need. Of course it is a basic human need. Just because you can't allocate it as easily as food or freedom of thought, it doesn't mean that it's any less relevant to a human's well-being. You're making an age-old logic error, the is-ought-problem. It isn't possibly to grant someone "being loved", from which you deduce that there cannot be a need for it.

Calm your titties, I didn't even disagree with you that much and you're acting like I insulted your grandma.

Romanticising traditional gender roles is not only misandrist, however much you want to be a victim.

I agree that this belief system hurts men too. In the end it's the internalisation of very toxic gender roles above all.

Internalized misogyny.

How is it unhealthy to tell them to get a grasp on reality? The reality is that they can't willfully control who they're attracted too. And it is unhealthy to settle for someone they subconsciously disdain.

What do you hope to accomplish with ad hominems?

Because maybe your indifference about being in a relationship has been shaped by never having had to worry about theoretically being able to.

I would go about my life and be open to relationships with women who meet my standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 04:19 PM

Do you honestly believe relationship opportunities just "present themselves" for men when going about their lives as long as they're open to it?

It's a very nice world you are describing, but not reality.

And however immature or naïve you were (or think you were) at that time, you still didn't look like a child at all.

You have never met a 16 year old in your life?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 07:17 AM

the thought of having a crush on a 16 year old girl is disgusting. They look like kids and don't even have fully developed bodies yet. 98% of women in western societies have fully undergone puberty at that age. This is pure cope. It's normal not to be interested in them on a personal level - they're 16 after all -, but why do you have to lie about them looking like kids?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
