This is immature and sucks real bad. I’m sorry you have to deal with this on top of everything else. It is probably confusing to your son to constantly have a new man in the passenger seat. 1) Get in to talk to a professional. NOW. Not like next week - NOW. Therapy is wonderful. First priority needs to be you. You need to get better for yourself. 2) Find an attorney to talk through your options. These are two processes that already exist. Seek them out and start your new life NOW.

There’s no reason you can’t be amicable and go through mediation to form a separation agreement or a collaborative divorce or even each retaining your own attorney. But get it done legally now. You were responsible enough to get married, have kids and have a career. Be responsible enough to put your marriage to rest properly.
