So familiar with this!!! I mention that I like jazz in my dating profiles (its something I really enjoy and have taken multiple classes on). I get so many guys who slide in with "top 3 Jazz musicians? GO!". When I'm foolish enough to engage with this already agressive man who doesnt really believe I am versed in this topic, they then follow it up with "fave jazz discography of all time go". This just happened last week. Ugh. Like why is it that everytime I've gotten into deep conversation about …

I 100% agree with this. They have absolutely no business knowing your baggage or trauma you've been through. As exactly that, in any argument he will refer back to what you have shared as why you're acting thr way you are!

Literally it just screams he is broke or extremely cheap. Or is trying to knock out 2 birds with 1 stone, trying to intimidate/vet me while we take a nice walk to his place? Yeah. I dont think so! Ahaha

Thissss is a beautiful post. It seems that many women put up with it because we were socialized to be submissive and basically through history painted as a possesion and a means to a mans pleasure! Being able to say no, own your space as a human, and leave is a very important practice to keep up ladies! I really wish we didn't even need to resort to faking an injury or have to be so creative in order to leave from a situation which does absolutely nothing for us!
