This is precisely it. I don't get why you are being downvoted. How people choose to organize their romantic lives is no ones business. But you can make a pretty strong case that we as a species tend to gravitate towards monogamy. Marriage is just a ritual confirming it.

You want names? Among certain groups of men there is indeed a tendency to blame women for their own shortcomings. They disguise it as being critical of feminists, but let's be real. They're bitter because they're not getting laid, and then try to frame that frustration as an intellectual discussion. Obviously not. There are many real issues facing men that needs to be adressed, and I don't disagree that certain aspects of feminism is problematic. It's becoming an ideology instead of a fight for equal rights. That's an interesting discussion. Blaming women for failing at life is not.

Australian law is clear on gender discrimination from what I can read. Although you can ask for an exemption from anti-discrimination laws, and they only apply to "certain public spaces", whatever that means. My point still stands though. Oh? In my experience convicted criminals are seldom the trustworthy type. It depends on the nature of the crime of course, but as a general rule it holds up pretty well. I don't know what you're convicted for, but I'm guessing it had an impact on how you were treated?
